A great, challenging product, many power functions
" This is the most complex model I have built until now. The gear section is quite complex and very compact. The number of functions is quite impressive. I was dubious about air piston but they did work.
The color scheme is great. I usually dispended from adding the decals but for this product I have added all of them. The decals does help to remember what levers does what. I did enjoyed myself quite a lot
I do a few points that could be improve:
1) In the second instruction guide (6070890.pdf), at page 38 – in the upper left section of the page. You are adding some kind of lever. I did not understand the purpose until I stated using the power functions. I then realize it was some kind of “brake” that would insert in the spoke of the gear so it would lock the gear of the winch so would it not drop the load. The purpose of the brake should be explain. Again about the same lever, the connector as no friction so it always keep dropping on gear of the winch thus you have to hold it yourself when using the winch to lower the hook, if would not then it stop the gear. I have solve this issue by changing the gray frictionless connector with a black connector with friction so when I use the winch, I move the lever out ways of the gear and when I finish move the brake on the gear.
2) Speaking about the winch, the hook is so lite, when you use the winch to lower the hook the cable just start unraveling around the spooler so you need to pull on the hook or attach some weight to it. Maybe the next could version of hook, a steel ball could added to it so it would more weight.
3) The front of cab (the part covering the radiator) of the truck is quite fragile, so you should never hold the vehicle by front section so maybe there could a ways to make it more robust
All in all, again a great model, challenging, many power functions, lot fun to build and also I did learn a few things in terms of mechanics. .
I am looking forward so see a new product with the same challenge
My next product is the plane.

Great truck - nice build - run greats
" I just finish building the Container Truck. The look is great, great color scheme; yellow, blue and red. I enjoyed building it and the inner gear was challenging but not too much. The steering is easy to use and the truck roll smoothly. I have added the power function so it give that little extra touch when you use the stabilizer and move the bucket. There are two (2) points it could improve on:
The panels on the side of the bucket are attach only at the bottom so the bucket is not as rigid as it could be. I tough that we could added braces with the front & back panels so it would make the bucket more rigid.
I have the lights of the power functions but there is no easy way to use them so it would be nice touch to use the lights.
There are ways to solve those issues myself but I do not, at this point, have the mechanical mind to do it.
Those are no major issues but it would be nice to address them in another model.
All in all, it was fun build, I do not really play with them since I am 57 years old but I enjoyed the building and testing if all works. I then stack them on the shelves. My next one is the Service truck.
Again great work and I hope to see new model very soon "

Nice model but the crane the weak spot
" The model to build is very original in term of shape and color scheme, I like bright color and orange is on the top of my list. The use of shock absorbers on the 4 track systems is very nice touch and the steering is a good idea but the steering is itself is hard, I have read a few reviews and I understand the reason (long blue connector), unfortunately the design is completed so it is for the next time and I will test the steering as I am building it..
The weak spot is the crane, like another post mentioned, the crane is almost an afterthought, I think it was too simple for this level of model. As I use the crane, I have notice there is not enough clearance so the cylinder often hit the side of bucket mostly the back end. I did find way the solve this issue, I have move the connection of the piston (the little device that push up or down the main arm of the crane) on the main arm of the crane by one hole lower. Also it would be a nice touch to have tail gate lights. I did have an extra set of red lights, so I have added those light at the end of the bucket.
I would see in the future, a very similar model but bigger, self-propel, with a more complex crane and a remote to control all the actions: forward – reverse, turn, control the crane movement and the bucket in the same fashion as for the Volvo front loader. I understand that the price will be much higher but it we would it worth.
Overall, fun to build, innovative design and great colors and I send my congratulation to all involves in the creation of this new model.
