street motorcycle
" this is a technic kit with many small parts, so take care with children. the kit can be assembled into either a modern or a vintage motor cycle.
excellent features and satisfying build, took me about 3 hours. now takes pride of place on side cupboard. might buy another one so I can make vintage bike as well without dismantling the modern one. suspension and engine cylinders with working pistons add to the realism. great kit, my only gripe is that the kick stand seems a bit weak, bendy under the weight of the model. I might experiment with strengthening this part... but overall I recommend this kit! "

sea plane
" this is a great little kit. there are instructions to build 3 different models from the parts supplied in this kit, but so far ive only made the sea plane. I re arranged the navigation lights to put the red and green lights on the wing tips and the orange ones on the tail. I think its more realistic that way. (put the red one on the left and the green one on the right, to remember which way they go, green and right have same number of letters!) (if you prefer, call left port, and right starboard. to remember this, left has same number of letters as port!)
this plane was easy to build in a well lit area, on a large flat surface. scale is smaller than the minifigure range, but there are some nice features like realistic undercarriage and floats. wouldn't risk it in the bath though! the propeller freely spins if you blow into it.
the assembled model is well proportioned and is nice to pick up and admire.
overall, good detail, great value for money, especially as you can make at least 3 different models with the same parts. "

" another great little star wars microfighter! (I also have the millennium falcon in this range, which is my favourite so far) easy to build. suggest you build in good light, on a large flat surface so you can spread out the parts and see what you are doing. quite an accurate replica, given its size. the supplied rebel pilot is not to scale, giving the whole thing a cartoony feel. many small parts give a lot of fine detail, and make it a good replica. for size, compare the size of the studs on the upper surfaces of the bricks, with standard lego parts.
the figure is not meant to be luke skywalker, but one of his rebel pilot allies. so you get a blaster pistol, not a light sabre!
I had fun building this, and it is a pleasure to pick up and admire.
overall, fun, well detailed, and great value for money. "

" these star wars microfighters are small charicature cartoony versions of craft seen in the films. this one is my favourite so far (I also have the snowspeeder in this range) easy to build, but recommend spreading the parts on a large flat surface to see what you are doing. the flick missiles are a snap fit, and flip forward when you press them from the back. simple. easy. but not much range as no springs or catches involved. the han solo mini figure is good, and has 2 faces, which you get by spinning his head back to front. one face serious, the other with a cheesy grin! the figure is not to the same scale as the spacecraft, giving it a cartoony feel. apart from that attention to detail is surprisingly good, including a red transparent power core hidden inside! similar attention is given to the engine array at the back. bit like blue jewels (but plastic, of course!)
all in all good detail in a small fun package. to get an idea of size, look at the familiar studs on top of the brick surfaces, they give an idea of scale. fun. collectible. good value for money. "

chinook style helicopter
" when built, this looks like a Chinook twin rotor helicopter. it has opening cargo bay door/ramp and contra rotating twin rotors driven by a thumb wheel sticking out the back. complete with undercarriage with rubber tyres. sleek styling, strong, with some moving parts.
construction can be fiddly at times especially when engaging small parts like connecting pins. best not to rush, and to work on a large flat surface so you can spread out the parts and see what you are doing. parents should be aware that there are many small parts and should consider this before giving it to young children. (even when built, small parts could become detached)
overall, fun to build and a delight to pick up and admire. "
