You truly belong with us here in the clouds..
" I bought this with some VIP points offer, and have to say the model is really excellent (apart from the rear undercarriage - more later). Fantastic to have Lando Calrissian, a very neat ground expection vehicle and mechanic (with tea mug - great) and a pilot. This A-Wing is an interesting build as well, with regards the rear engines, wing layout etc. I did not bother with the external decals, as the white pieces will work well with my Lego Architecture Studio (21050).
The only fly in the oitment is the rear undercarriage, which when folded sticks out and is untidy (to me) and ruins the overall 'sleekness' of the A-Wing. A quick modification (see photos below) removing the pieces that go between the folding part and the actual landing pad, results in a neat finish. I'll be moding my Tie-Fighter v A-Wing set the same way.. "

DH-3 Otter comes to life
" I saw this model on Saturday in the Lego Store and thought it looked great, being life-like and probably having realistic functions. I spent about three-four hours building it with the obligatory cup of tea. It is an advanced model, and you need to take care and follow the instructions carefully. I managed to get the water bomb door release wrong, as I used the wrong axle length for the push-stick, but had no problems rectifying that.
This is an excellent model, well detailed with working control surfaces, engine, prop and the fun bit, which is the water bomb payload door. It now takes pride of place on my sideboard. I especially like the thought that has gone into designing the yoke and control mechanism for the flaps and ailerons; it's discrete and works perfectly. I really like the way LEGO are making their Technic models look very realistic.
Anyone who likes planes and Technic models generally will love this. It's excellent value for money as well, considering a lot of the parts could be used to make your own aircraft designs. Recommended! "

Ducati 916 for your desk!
" This set is excellent value for money, and suprisingly large; similar to a 1:20 model kit. The wheels give away the size when you open the box!
Upon completion, it looks a bit like a Ducati 916, except with a V4 and standard old-skool rear arm. Next mod will be a single-sided gul arm!
Alot of thought and attention has gone into the design and construction. The engine is really impressive, especially as it is hung from the backbone of the chassis to link to the chain drive. I was really impressed with the new (to me) design of the pistons and cranks - very realistic operation.
The front suspension is quite complex and requires attention when building, as does the chassis skeleton. I made a couple of mistakes by not following the manual properly. All came together nicely though.
I like the way the suspension realistically works, for children (and adults) this model is great fun to play with!
This set would be fantastic for any motorcycle enthusiast, young or old! "
