"Not only does this set fail to include an accurate representation of the throne room, in both size and scope, it is massively expensive to boot. Purchased at £47 from amazon and this still seems to expensive for a set that:
-doesnt include a red backdrop (could have been easily achieved with red plates) -includes a lift that is barely big enough for one minifigure, not 2 as the movie depicts -has little room to be able to recreate scenes from the movie, particularly the battle scene which most people will want to do. -includes a poor selection of minifigures, only including 1 helmet style and 2 weapon variations of the praetorian guard. -has some unnecessary parts included, such as an ability to fling a minifigure around the room, and the odd inclusion of pillars which are barely seen in the film. -misses any of the features behind snokes throne such as the archway and aforementioned red screen.
All in all this is a set that should either have been £40 on release, or £80 with a substantially meatier offering, a much larger staging area, larger lift, scenery behind the throne and at least 2 more praetorian guard.
Lego has recently opted to stage a price war with itself, increasing prices year on year while lowering the piece count as it goes with nothing but negative results.
A few more years and many will be priced out of buying lego and turning to cheaper alternatives instead, a sad result when 30 years ago lego was a household name, now it is becoming a premium product few can afford."
