"I will be honest. I got this set for Yoda and R2. (I am sure I am not alone in this). Its a easy to build space ship. Nicely made and sturdy. Nothing complicated about the building of it. My kids love to play with it as it fits nicely in their hands. Looks quite nice in display as well. It is not the most awesome looking but it is still quite cool. But be warned, even though it is Yoda and R2 my kids still make it lose against a Tie fighter! So is not too menacing looking! lol. Great set for those that collect the figures or kids."
"I wasn’t sure what to expect with this set.The box was quite big so i expected a massive ship. While it is quite large I thought it was bigger. While building it I realized that it was going to be a bit smaller than i thought( seeing the 1400 pieces made me assume it was larger). As I was building it I realized why the 1400 pieces... the amount of detail is amazing. The interior holds plenty of space for figures, for more than it came with. There is a table with 3 chairs, command center with 4 chairs, an elevator. A command station for one figure, and a second station that holds several figures with some display screens. The top opens quite nicely, it is well put together so no fear of it breaking. The ship is quite heavy so i find the handle to carry it is not strong enough. It feels like it will break. The top opens fully giving you full acess to the interior without having to remove parts. The outside is nicely detailed and the back of it looks great. Overall this set exeeds my expectations. One of the most fun sets i own. The biuld itself(despite taking long) was fun. I made some mistakes that were easy fixed. Too many pieces the same color."
"Not much to say about this set. The photo says it all. Quick and easy build. Looks ok in display, is not an iconic vehicle in the franchise as it makes a short appearance. The figures are nice, reason i got it. C3PO, Luke and Kenobi are nice. Kids enjoy playing with it so it makes it worth it. An R2 would had been nice, but only because he does play a part in the scene. It is well build and doesnt break when the kids play with it. It makes good use of small amout of pieces to make a nice vehicle. The motor gives it a nice look. Overall nice small set for the price. But nothing to special."
"Cant go wrong with this X-wing. I love it. It is well built and very fun to build. The wings have a mechanism to open and close them. Got this set since its one of my favourite spaceships in the franchise. And it did not disappoint. My only regret is that i never got the one with R2-D2. It became a house favourite the second it was built, kids take it over any other. Looks great on display and solid enough for play time. The small structure that came with it its a bit pointless in my opinion, since it doesnt really add playability to the set or display. It always gets left behind. I would had added Finn as he was in that scene. Overall an amazing set."
"Nice small tank, easy to build and quite solid. Didnt take long to make but the end result is quite satisfying. Kids really like to play with it, and blast the droids apart... The Jedi is quite nice herself, one of the main reasons i got this set. It has some wheels under so it glides nicely while kids play with it. It is not one of the best sets but still quite a nice."
"Very nice small set. Easy to build and looks good. I dont tend to get movie scenes, got this one for the figures. But once built its quite nice. The stretcher where Anakin goes bends and rotates so it can “transform” into Vader, and has a mechanism that lowers Darth Vader’s helmet into his head. Several light sabers are included and several tools. There are more tools than slots to store them, so you can chose what you display. This and the Han Solo carbonite freezing and two nice scenes to have."
"I will start by saying that i am not a fan of this Lego. There is nothing wrong with this set, i just dont like how it looks. That beeing said, this was bought by my 7 year old boy. And he loves it. It was easy for him to build(he has been building since he was 3). There was no challenges in the build for him. It is well made and sturdy. Like most Lego Star War ships you can move the wings with the twist of a discrete piece in the back, and they stay up or down. This one and the X wing are his favourites. Happy building!"
"After reading some reviews i decided to grab this Lego while on sale. No regrets! It is a very nice ship. While building it I had some concerns about how fragile it would be, the bottom pannels are just help by blue technique pegs and a few normal brick to brick connections. And i was concenrned about how balanced it would be while on display staing straight. So far the side panels stay in place without a problem, and the ship stands up well balanced. Wouldnt take much to tip it thought. As for the rest it is awesome. The rocket propellors give it an awesome look. It has a button that releases the bombs one at the time, and buttons to release the lasers. It will be most likely one of the most played Lego beacause of the heavy bomb drops. It has 5 figures and space for all of them inside. I was a bit disappointed with the fact that there is no weapon holder. All 5 come with blasters, and they dont fit in the turret with them, but there is enough space inside to put a small Lego box as weapon cache. The turrets tilt when you tilt the ship, this alone makes it awesome, nice realistic intergalactic living room space fight! Defenetly a nice add to a collection."
"This lego was very fun to build. It took me three days(i have two young kids). It had some intresting building techniques that made it fun. Most of my legos are on display and i allow my kids to play with them. This set is well designed and it doesnt fall apart when they play with it( no Kragle needed!). It looks amazin on display too. ( It catches guest eyes since it is such a different build). It is quite tall, giving it that movie-like feeling when they play with smaller city builds. Overall an amazing lego set! Happy building!"
