Fun, detailed, not very accurate
" This set is really interesting to build. A lot of thought has gone into it. One of the things that really tickled me was the use of a white car door for loo roll. The photos up the stairs impressed me too. I also like that the instructions come in different booklets, as my flatmate could join in too.
I feel this set is a play set rather than a model, as it is not an accurate representation of the Simpsons' house. All the important rooms are included (minus the door that leads to the basement or cloakroom) but the layout and furniture is inaccurate. You can recreate the iconic couch scene, but that's pretty much it. I'm not entirely sure why half the minifigures look drunk either.
As a Simpsons fan, I'm glad I have this. If I was a child, I would appreciate or it far more to play with. If you want accuracy, go for the Kwik-e-mart.

Incredible detail
" As previous reviews have said, this set is incredibly detailed. The build has been well thought about, and the attention to detail and little quirks makes it well worth the money. Simpsons fans will love the "products" that feature on the show, such as Krusty-Os and Angry Dad in magazine form. If I was being picky, I'd point out that Lisa makes the "Let's Bee Friends" card, but it's still a nice touch.
I preferred this to the Simpsons' house (which I loved), although the instructions for this set came all in one book. It meant I needed to photocopy pages for myself and my flatmate to build at the same time.
