It's fine, but overpriced.
" I got swept up in the 20th anniversary nostalgia and picked up this set on day 1, even though I already have my own squadron of Snowspeeders by now. This set checks all the boxes for the speeder: assembly, displayability, playability, etc. The minifigs aren't unique, but match the set. Re-releasing the rare Cloud City Lando was the only saving grace for me. For collectors who didn't already have him, it's probably worth the money. For anyone else: it's 309 pieces, wait until it goes on sale for $30 or less. "

Finally, a white Millennium Falcon
" There have been so many Falcons over the years, and this is the third one in my own collection (original UCS and the Ep VII set). It was nice to finally have one made primarily with white bricks. I know the original falcon wasn't "gleaming" white like a new lego brick, but the gray never sat right with me. So kudos there, Lego!
Now, for my beefs. $170 for 1400 pieces is just too much. It's a cool set, but the value just isn't there. There are also gaps in the shell that make it look a little unrefined. And the interior lacks some of the detail and flare of the previous models.
Still, it was a fun build, displays well, the removable escape pod was a nice touch, and the Solo Movie Lando minifig is an instant classic. I'd recommend waiting for it to go on sale, but it's still a solid buy. "

My favorite set of 2018
" This one was worth the wait. Sure to become an iconic setting in the Star Wars Universe, Vader's castle on Mustafar had everything you'd want in a lego set. Great minifigs, lots of unique interior scenes, and it looks SO great on display. I picked up 11 sets this year (yeah, I know) and this was far and away my favorite. If you're a collector or a casual fan, you should add this one to your home today. You won't be disappointed. "

Another Battle Pack that does not disappoint
" Would recommend this set for the FO Pilot & unique Executioner minifigs alone. But the mobile cannon is a cool design and always nice to have an extra gunner too. "

Disappointed in the little things
" I really wanted to like this set. I liked the scene in the movie. I liked Finn & Rose in disguise. I didn't even mind having (yet another) of the same BB-8 minifig. But what really bothered me about this set was that we didn't have a face for Phasma. It was revealed in the movie (or at least her eye was) and we all know Gwendoline Christie is under there. No reason not to give us a real head and not another plain black one.
Another annoyance was the decals. I'm not a huge fan of them to begin with, but I appreciate the need for them as printing bricks is costly. But I hate...hate...having to put decals on 1x2 surfaces and there were 5. Given that 4 of them were identical, I really don't see why they could just make those printed bricks.
The set itself is a good use of minimal part. Easy to build. Fun to play with. Only average value for the money though. I'd have preferred if you left out the "lift" and made it a $30 set with a true Phasma minifig. "

Great value, especially for Star Wars as of late
" If you don't already have an AT-ST in your collection, this one is a fine addition. 440+ parts & 3 minifigs for $40 is a very good deal for Star Wars. Size fits nicely with the UCS Ewok Village (even if they are from different movies). Enjoyable build and play. "

Great set for a first-time Hoth buyer
" There have been a lot of reviews by fans who were disappointed by this set. I am not one of them. Yes, it was a rehashing of several smaller Hoth sets from years past. Yes, some of the features were not as profound as we've come to expect from other UCS sets. But what they do give you in the set is REALLY COOL. Especially if you don't already have an elaborate Hoth set collection. This will allow you to populate that planetscape in one fell swoop. As far as value for the money, the people who've felt slighted seem to be surprised by what they got? IN this day and age, there is no mystery as to what's in the box. We knew how many pieces we got, how many minfigs (the detailing on which is great, btw), and the interconnectivity of everything that comes in the set vs what's been released in the past.
My recommendation, if you don't like what you see on the box, don't buy it. If you think $250 is too much for 2200 pieces and 15 minifigs, don't buy it. I knew what I was getting and I've enjoyed every second of it. "

Way cooler than the pictures!
" When I first saw the microfighters, I thought they were silly and just another way to squeeze extra parts in with some redesigned minifigs. Boy, was I wrong. Not only are they well designed, they're actually really fun to play with. It's a great blend of style and functionality that the kids and I can enjoy together...them because it's Star Wars and me because the set is robust enough to handle without constantly breaking pieces off during "battles" with the boys.
Well done!! "
