King of the road
" From start to finish this model keeps you on your toes, no short cuts allowed or not reading the page properly as I found out the hard way, one small axle does a lot of work.
Amazed how every thing was crammed into such a tight space whilst still giving all the functions of the real machine.
The pneumatic system, extending boom excellent fun, the controls are very sensitive till you get used to them.
The size of the model is excellent, you can get loads into the tipper and the suspension works a dream.
Model B looks another excellent build.
Excellent flag ship model for 2015.

Blue Crane
" Great new addition to the lego technic range.
Instructions are clear and precise in a single booklet and all parts have been grouped in numbered bags to assist in the build sequence.
The gears, pulleys and drive system for the tracks is well set out and provides the builder with some understanding of mechanics (thats the education bit done with) back to the fun side, powered systems are forwards & backwards driving, rotating body, lifting & lowering of the main boom and cable up & down, the claw is manual. Easy to operate and fun piece to play with.
This is not a complicated build and would be suitable for somebody wishing to try the technic range out as a new adventure.
For experienced technic builders there are some new parts and a reworking of mechanics & frame to make it an enjoyable build, plus its blue. This is a welcome change from the standard yellow issue for construction equipment and makes a great feature piece in the construction set.
Scale sits well with recent models.
