"When I saw it in the store I wasn't sure if I wanted it or not. I liked it but I wasn't in love with it like the VW Bus but after a few more visits to the store it started to grow on me so I picked one up. The color kept me from loving it haha. I'm glad that I did though because it was a fun build and I'm really happy with it. The seats were my favorite part to build. The picnic basket accessories are adorable and I love how they store in the trunk! The quality of Legos is definitely superior. Very enjoyable, relaxing and fun experience!"
"The Simpsons House was my second Lego build. When I saw this at the store I wanted it and ended up going back to get it. I worked on it for 6 days just to prolong the experience :) It was so much much fun to build. LEGO's has been such a therapeutic experience for me. They just make me feel good from start to finish. It is so much fun to look at all of the details. It makes me want to add a yard to it (tree house etc as others have mentioned). I was a little surprised there wasn't a saxophone for Lisa although I was just has happy with the camera. No dog either. Happy with all of the figures and accessories except for the choice of material for Marge and Lisa's clothing. It's stiff and has gaps. Thin felt or a different type of material/design with 2 holes seems like it would have worked out better. I had read a few reviews that mentioned issues attaching the garage at the end so I attached it to the wall in the beginning. As soon as the pieces of the wall were built up where I could attach it, I did. It didn't hinder the remainder of the build in any way and I highly recommend doing so. I think it was the right decision for me because you could see where structural chaos could happen when trying to piece them together if you wait until the end. It takes some pressure to fit those 2 pieces together and if you aren't holding the wall in the right place, it has the potential to get ugly :) I love how creative Lego is in their creations and the way they use the pieces. The beds are so cute. The bathroom is awesome! Amazing to see how they transform into these amazing structures. The roof pieces are easily removed for viewing as well as the second floor which reveals the living room! Solid build and the the perfect size. I can't wait for May 1st when the Kwik-E-Mart is available!! Looking forward to more in this series! Couldn't be happier with this purchase."
"I've loved LEGO'S from a distance since I was a child. I always kept them at arms length because I knew it would become somewhat of an addiction. This was my first LEGO build. What an enjoyable, relaxing, fun, minimally frustrating (at times) and comical experience it was. One piece flew up and bounced off of the ceiling. Before I knew it I was down on all fours with a flashlight on a search and rescue mission before one of my cats got to it. It really was fun from start to finish. It took me 15hrs (laughable, I know) but I wanted to take my time with it and make the experience last. The details are amazing and I love everything. The Lava Lamp was the icing on the cake! Simply made and adorable. The painting in the back with the surfboard was a great choice and I love the shirt in the window. The rear bench seat folds down to make a bed and the pop up is excellent. I couldn't be more pleased and I am so glad I got it. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it. No regrets here! I've seen more of the LEGO store in last few weeks than I care to admit to :) I've never lost my inner child but this sure has taken me to another level. Love working with my hands and I'm enjoying ever minute of it. I love the entire process and the attention to detail. They are amazing to look at and everyone who has seen them is as excited about them as I am."
