Great Batwing set
" One of the movies I loved as a kid was Batman (Keaton), and when the 1989 Batmobile came out last year, I jumped up and down; and this year the Batwing? Oh man...I LOVE it.
The build was not as challenging as I expected, but there are some Easter eggs and surprises, well done.
There are 2 things though I think this set can be made better:
1) there is no play feature on this set, compare to the Batmobile with the functioning steeling wheel, pop-up machine gun and the slide-open “cockpit”, the Batwing has no play feature at all.
2) a feature of this set is that it can be hung on the wall, and one of the iconic scenes at the movie was the Batwing flew up to the moon and made the Batman icon. If there is a background poster of the moon comes with the set and I can hang it up with the set and recreate that scene (like the cover photo on the box), that would be perfect...but...sigh...

And I can’t say I am not disappointed with the shipping time. I placed the order at 12:10am Oct 21, and expecting the set comes within a few days, but I ended up receiving it Oct 29...
It took over a week to come, and it said will take 2-3 days for shipping when checking out...

One of the best sets I have build
" I remember in Oct 2018, when I first saw this set still gathering supports, I wanted this set already. After 20 months of waiting...finally...

About the built, I enjoyed so much building this set, complicated and yet nothing is confusing. It didn’t disappoint me from my expectations at all. Excellent design, amazing set. I love it.
I noticed all online copies had been sold out within minutes its starting selling, so I started lining up outside of Lego store 3 hrs prior to its opening on Aug 1. A little bit crazy? Maybe. Waste of time? Not at all. And a side note, by the time the store opened, there were already about 100 people lining up for this set, and thank to the store staffs and mall’s security guards, I had a safe waiting experience.
Great set to have, great set to build. Great experience to enjoy.
