"Can you get rid of the foil packs and switch to something compostable?
$4.99 plus tax is quite a lot. If that's Warner Bros. trying to make money back on movie expectations under their new management by leveraging LEGO prices, I can't say. Getting Nick Fury and Captain Marvel in a polybag in the same week for the same price makes me believe DC is behind this. If this is the way forward with Miniatures, however, it's going to be as disappointing as shelling out almost $100 for a complete set for these DC Heroes. And that's just for me - my daughter wants most of these, too.
Some of these heroes, too, are too much like their other versions from other sets in the past. Superman's nice to have a Daily Planet in his hand, but is similar to so many Batman v. Superman and DC Superheroes models. Wonder Woman, similar story. And Aquaman (I wish you hadn't gone for the 1990s/2000s grumpy iron man w/ hook). Those were the first three I received.
I hope these show up in the LEGO store mix-and-match case and I can create some variations without having to shell out $5+ per. If you're going to charge that price, please make the packs transparent from now on. You'll likely have a glut of Mr. Miracles and Metamorpho, so you might want to mix up the counts and make those rarer so you can clear stock. For certainty in what's in the (compostable) pack, I'd pay $5."
