LEGO Creator - Beach House
Need to get away? Relax in your very own beach house! This colorful building is packed with fun and realistic details, from the big sunlit windows to the barbecue and umbrella. Includes instructions for rebuilding into a cozy cafe or towering apartment building! Second floor lifts off to see stairs and fireplace on the first floor! Second floor has a balcony and a skylight that opens! Outside there is a patio with table, umbrella and chairs, and even a barbeque grill with chicken! City, here I come!
" This is an awesome set. The fact that it can be three different sets is even better. This allows your city or town to look different each block.
I think it would be better if three or four mini figures were added to make a mini family. One idea is to pair it with the coast guard truck and jet ski for the coast guard's house. (Seriously, why include a piece of chicken and a bbq if there's no one to cook and eat it?)
I did like the inclusion of the green base plate however it would be more realistic with some black four stud tile plates for indoor flooring. As it stands, it looks like it's built on grass - what does the mini figure cut the grass indoors to keep it under control?
The other suggestion I have is that given there are three models, that Lego include some other colored bricks. Each of the three models is going to be yellow if you buy three sets. Nothing wrong with that but it's a bit too similar. Some red or brown would allow for a brick or wooden impression to be made.

Lego city's going to the cleaners!
" This vehicle could be transferred to a combine and harvest wheat on a farm. The front designer is exactly the same!
What's up with the character's expression though? He looks like he's really disappointed - is that because there's so much litter?
I was very impressed with it. It does seem a little on the small side compared to some other vehicles and sets and slightly out of proportion to the streets.
No complaints with the price, functionality or the play value at all! It's exactly what my city needs!

LEGO Transportation: Airplane Mechanic
The airplane mechanic is busy checking the airplane engine! Transport the engine with the crane and perform the maintenance! Includes mechanic minifigure with tools! Includes crane and airplane engine!

Wow! Planes, line up for service!
" Easily one of the best products. This mechanic set does not have to focus on airplanes - take away the over-sized engine and place him in the service station or train yard and he's ready to repair everything that comes his way.

A more logical package
" I think the issue with the road plates is this:
The pairings are not very logical. Lego sells two packages
- one straight road plate and one crossroad plate
- one curved road plate and one t-junction road plate.
- one straight road plate and one crossroad plate
- one curved road plate and one t-junction road plate.
The curve and t-junction road plates do make sense but by themselves are not enough to build a city.
One thing that would be an asset is if Lego would provide some road diagrams similar to what they do with the train track pieces in order to give builders some inspiration and ideas.
They could then package road plates based on these road diagrams.

Well......not the best purchase I ever made.

The pairings are not very logical. The set would make more sense with one crossroad plate and four straight plates. As it stands, it's a 1-1 trade-off and I can't see needing 4 crossroad plates while I always need straight road plates.
I'd suggest Lego sell the straight road plates in sets and the crossroad plates individually.

I wouldn't buy this product again as it is packaged.

Gas, a clean car and a clean windshield!
" I really can't believe the functionality of this set. There is a "working" car wash, a windshield washing station and a pop machine.
The *only* complaint I have is that the store interior is so bland. Basically, you either stick one figure behind the counter or ignore it in favor of servicing the cars.
Buy this set! It's worth every penny!

LEGO Construction: Recycle Truck
Keep your LEGO City clean and tidy with this realistic Recycle Truck! Sweep up the rubble then use the double tipping function to collect and unload trash and recycling. Container detaches from the cab! Store the recycle can on the back of the container for easy transport! Use the platform on back to hop on and off! Wow!! Wow!! *********
" There aren't enough stars to rate this product.
I simply cannot believe that Lego has made a functioning garbage truck or better yet that they're environmentally aware to make it a recycling truck.
The best example of the creativity in this product is the rear, where there is a "grapple arm" which hooks the garbage can and raises it up to dump into the body of the truck. Of course you have to help it along but still....

LEGO Police - Police Car
The police car is on patrol, keeping the city streets safe! The police officer has his radar gun to watch for speeders. When he spots one, he takes off in his super-fast police car and tracks the driver down! Includes police officer minifigure.

911! THe accessory no city is safe without!
" Title says it - "The accessory no city is safe without!"
This is a practical, real life example of what the police do everyday (watch for speeders and chase them) and it's non-violent too! No gun. Great toy for a kid (or an adult building a city!).
It's also convertible in terms of not needing to be a police car. Skip the stickers and take off the roof for example and the whole car is changed.
