An awesome introduction into the Minecraft line!
" I'm a huge Minecraft fan, but I had never gotten any of the sets Lego made. Man do I regret that! Once I saw this set was based off PvP I immediately knew I needed it.
Both of the minifigures are amazing and it's awesome they didn't just go with a Steve and Alex. The black and green minifig looks a bit like a cyborg, and is my favorite in the set. The blue and orange figure has good detail, but doesn't look as cool as the other one, but I still like it! The weapons for them are also great with awesome molds to fit Minecraft, I think it's a missed opportunity that they didn't include some armor for the figures. I also appreciate how the figures are not named, they're just called "Player" to show that they are player made or chosen skins in the game. I like that they are doing this more in other sets! Also the killer bunny is as cute
and makes a fun little final boss type guy to get to the chest.
The build is excellent! I love how it's based on Monty Python and The Holy Grail (I'd love some sets on that film btw Lego). Each player gets a starting area, and the goal seems to be get to the golden apple as well as the chest. The set also has great playability. There's a little missile thing that can shoot at the figures, and you can remove the entire skull part of the arena to give your figures more room to duke it out.
Overall I really appreciate a PvP based set for Lego Minecraft. PvP is such a fun mode and I love that you did this Lego! The figures just add to the fun, and I could see so many kids loving this if they love playing Minecraft PvP modes. "
