"This set blew my already high expectations out of the water. The twin dragon heads are stunning and are adorned with gold whiskers. The deck is awesome and has far more than enough space to place minifigs. The dojo is awesome and has so many weapons for the ninja to train with as well as a nice scroll. The bridge is amazing and uses the garage door panels in tan which gives it a cool bamboo style look. The bedroom for Wu has a nice bed in which you can put him. The bedroom also has many references to Ninjago's previous years which is a nice touch for long-time fans. The bathroom is also very detailed and cool, including even more references. The masts are beyond words with the level of printing and their amazing dragon design. The minifigs are also a good selection with all six ninja and Wu included. Look at the price as well. For nearly 2,300 pieces, this is an amazing deal. Overall, this set is by far one of the best Ninjago sets, nay one of the best LEGO sets ever made."
"This dragon is pretty good. The minifigs are all great and for both Golden Lloyd and The Overlord to be included in the same set for a low price is amazing considering that both came in more expensive sets in the past. The dragon itself has a few issues. The toes are the biggest disappointment. They are so small and the build of them isn't that good. This dragon also has trouble standing. The use of the moulded head works here. The tail is good. The wings could be better. I would have preferred them if they had the larger blades for the entire wing instead of a small katana. This set is also a little sticker heavy for its size. I would have preferred actual gold pieces instead of stickers on the wings. The body is pretty good and the saddle looks nice with the white. This set is better than the original by just a hair in my opinion. The sleeker look makes it look better as opposed to the blocky one from 2013. I definitely wouldn't recommend this over the Ultra Dragon or the Monastery of Spinjitzu, but its still a good small set for people who don't have a high budget."
"This dragon is amazing! It is an major improvement on the Epic Dragon Battle set. The vinyl wings look beautiful in person and with the wings folded out the set looks magnificent. The brick built heads look fantastic and unique. The saddle is much better than the original and looks very regal. The dragon doesn't have leg articulation, but this excusable because the legs need to be in a certain place for the function to work properly. This version also has a better body and is more built up. The dragon has a whipping tail. This works well as both a play set for kids and a display set for older collecters."
