Lego 42101 The Buggy/The Race Car
" Overall, the set earns 5 out of 5 for points. When creating this review, I considered all that the set has to offer- the playability, the ease of construction, the overall design, and the cost. For the playability, the set has constructions that give it a 'realistic' feel to it; using some suspension and turnability, it gives the impression of an actual buggy. Granted, for its size, it cannot offer much, but the single suspension in the back and the artificial axel in the front fit the size of the set perfectly. These constructions allow the user to play with the set, and simulate an actual dune buggy, maybe not perfectly, but close to. The ease of construction is another factor I looked into- moderately challenging, this set provides an experience where a young user can construct the set with little issue; however, the set isn't an easy build. Combining some difficult build concepts, and semi-complicated systems, it creates a moderate challenge for any young builder. For the overall design, it truly gives the feel of an actual buggy; and if you refer to the section on playability above, you can read what I feel about the special construction concepts. The last thing that I will review is the price. Overall, the set is expensive for the piece count- I personally have a set the has around forty more pieces, that cost three dollars less. The increase in price lowers the quality of the product some, but overall, this product is a wonderful toy that children of all ages to enjoy. "
