Enjoyable set
" Overall I enjoyed this set, but I'm disappointed that there are no lightsaber characters included.
I don't consider myself a huge Star Wars fan, but I'm a fan of the space ships and of course the lightsaber fights! So for the most iconic Star Wars set to not have any lightsaber guys I was disappointed. But I can get them later I suppose! And of the characters included. None of them are really appealing to me.

I greatly enjoy how sturdy the build is. I know in the past that my biggest saddness from Legos is losing little bits and pieces of models as they fall off over time. And I am happy with how durable this build is.
I know some people on Youtube have commented about how plain and empty the inside of the ship is. But I'll be honest that it being empty is one of the selling points for me. I'm looking forward to redesigning the inside for my own designs, and the more space--the better! Though, I have to admit compared to pictures of previous Falcons--I can certainly see where people would be disappointed.
I'm happy that they fixed most of the gaps. I wish there were less 'side' gaps. I wanted to use this ship as my "mothership" of sorts, and store lots of people and accessories and things like that inside. But I'd worry with the gaps that I would lose smaller pieces through the floor and walls really easy. However, when I get time to modify the inside I want to patch up those issues.

Overall, I really wasn't expecting to like this set too much. I bought it because I was able to coupon stack and get it at a great price. But having enjoyed the build, and enjoying its size and versatility I'm sold!
And while I wouldn't buy a duplicate of this ship. I'll be eager to see the next one that may come out in the future. Sign me up for big ships. They're a lot of fun to build!
