Batman™ fans and anyone who appreciates cool cars will love the LEGO® DC Batman 76139 1989 Batmobile™ model car kit for adults. This beautifully detailed LEGO brick building toy replicates the classic curves of the famous Batmobile car, as seen in the 1989 Batman movie. Measuring over 60cm long and built from 3,306 pieces, the model offers a challenging and rewarding build. Die-hard fans will love authentic features such as the slide-open cockpit with a new-for-November-2019 wraparound windshield element, 2 hidden machine guns with a pop-up function activated by turning the turbine exhaust, and decorative grappling hooks on each side of the vehicle. The Batman toy car comes with a rotating display stand (with an attached information plate with 1989 Batmobile™ statistics) for ease of viewing from any angle. A must-have for all Batman fans, this super-hero toy construction set also includes 3 new-for-November-2019 minifigures—Batman with a cape that matches his 1989 movie outfit, The Joker™ and Vicki Vale™—plus a brick-built minifigure display stand.

A very serious and impressive piece of kit!
" This is probably the biggest and most complicated brick-built vehicle-based set I've come across, as well as the most expensive purchase I've ever made.
But it is well worth the experience, seeing how things come together and the amazing engineering and weird building techniques used in this that I've never seen or thought of before! This is not a set you should rush through or underestimate; I was going at a steady pace and still made mistakes here and there. The fact that a steering mechanism is fitted into this (which is very smartly done and different to the standard rack and gear set up), alongside a mechanism to expose and retract the machine guns is fantastic.
If there is one flaw, and this is a small one, it is the steering actually; while this set does have functions, this is very strictly a display set first and foremost. Trying to steer the front wheels with the cockpit's steering wheel is awkward but manageable. But I do not recommend doing it with the Batmobile not sitting on what I call the "Lazy Susan" display stand; the steering mechanism can't cope due to the sheer weight of the model and the lack of leverage you can put into it. And I did try on a smooth wooden surface.
But it is a small nitpick that does not detract from the awesomeness and iconic design of this Tim Burton variant of Batmobiles!
This is THE Batmobile to go for! "
