Disappointing 10th Anniversary Set
" The new set released during the lock down was a welcome relief although sources for the figures few and far between. The Series 20 Minifigures the 10th Anniversary set was rather disappointing. The only evidence of the anniversary was the 2x2 Flat with a number 10 on it. Itwas nice to return to the Lego mini-figures rather than another licensed set although the Licensed price tag representing poor value for money.
Whilst my Grandson (5) and I agreed that the Viking was our favourite figure, we did enjoy Pianata boy with a pinata. The "in scale" drone and the turtle were nice extras.
But, changing the; colours (Knight, Diver), sex (bucanner, street Dancer, pyjama girl) accessorie (Kartae, Musician) lack excitement or interest.
Perhaps it is time to run a competition for mini-figures ideas to help kick start the team to come up with new ideas.
The Pea pod whilst different is diifcult to fit into our lego town, we assume more vegetables will be on the way on future runs.
