Amazing display piece
" Was super excited when this was announced and pre-ordered immediately along with Boba Fett and TIE Fighter Pilot helmets.
I strung the build out over a few days on purpose but the build was both interesting and enjoyable. When it was finished, I was surprised at two things: 1) how much smaller it was than I was expecting, and 2) how freaking amazing it looks in person.
I've got a LOT of Star Wars Lego sets and this little guy is easily one of my new favorites. I was prepared to be a little disappointed with the final result in that the pics I'd seen online and in reviews looked a little... off somehow. Elongated, maybe?
But I'm here to tell you it's just weird photography angles because on display this Stormtrooper helmet is amazing. I'm building TIE Fighter Pilot now and am looking forward to finishing it and Boba Fett. If they're anywhere near as awesome as Stormtrooper, this is a line I'll look forward to Lego continuing for a long time.
