"I brought this tree house to add to my buildings collection. Yes, I was fascinated by tree houses as a child, so this was one to definitely have.
I didn’t want to rush to build it because I wanted something to do that I enjoy during the lockdown, and its difficult to get anything delivered, much less non essentials like lego.
I have said that this build is challenging because the instructions were hard to follow. I say that because it only had arrows to show you were to put the pieces, and it wasn’t highlighted as I am used to from assembling my buildings. I had to pull it apart twice to go back in order to see what was missing, or the part that was put in the wrong place. On the first mini restructure there were a lot more pieces left over than what usually is. What did I miss! Did I want to rebuild again…no! So I carried on. I’m not sure what happened but it is not easy to go back and fix any mistakes for sure. I would advise to utilise the colours in the treehouse to give direction because without that I would be a lot more frustrated than I actually was, and I was frustrated.
It must be said that I did however delve into the build without reading the introduction and was surprised to find a whole load of pieces at the end of it all. It turns out that there are interchangeable leaves. Shades of green for summer, and yellow and brown for autumn. I won’t be changing the leaves as it seems too much hassle. Once it’s built I would just display it. Despite that, the results are good and I am happy with it, and I would recommend it to others."
