"As an Adult Fan Of Lego I mostly build the large creator sets, advanced technic sets, and some of the larger Star Wars sets. Up to now I would say I had the most fun building the roller coaster because it was just so different from anything else. The Lego Grand Piano may have just bumped that from the number one spot. This was a fascinating build from beginning to end. As a piano player myself, I was impressed with the intricate attention to detail. The finished product is stunning to look at. When I first saw this set on the Lego Ideas site I thought if Lego ever decides to make an official set of this project I'm sure they will "dumb it down" a bit. Not so. Kudos for staying so true to the original idea. As far as the two complaints I keep reading about: 1. I understand the frustration with it being out of stock so soon, but I have run into that myself before and sometimes you just have to be patient. I'm sure the pandemic is responsible to some degree. 2. If you thought that this was going to play like a real piano you weren't paying attention at all. If you watched the designer video or read almost anything online ahead of time you would (SHOULD) have known exactly what this model was capable of. Contrary to all the whiners, I am impressed by the "playability" that was added to the original design. Thank you Lego for another great Ideas set. You have had some true winners lately with the fishing store, the pirates ship, and the treehouse. Please keep making advanced sets like this."
