Very small
" I bought a size 4 for my skinny four year old. The shirt fits his two year old brother better. The shirt is very good quality. "

Great way to get kids to drink water
" We introduced this at the beginning of potty training, and it helped our son drink more water, speeding up the process. I can carry it without spilling, but you have to be *very* careful. I typically underfill the tray, creating ice plates, rather than ice bricks. Would be difficult for a child to use by themselves. "

You are buying the fire truck
" Although my kids were very excited when they first got this set, they really only play with a few pieces these days. The fire truck and crew still get almost daily use, but for the price, I wish we’d gotten something else. Or that the fire station wasn’t included at all. "

Favorite set at this price point
" We build a fair number of sets that are under or around 100 pieces, and this is by far our favorite. The brushes turn when you push the vehicle forward. My kid was just entranced. He also loved putting the banana in the back of the truck. There’s a ledge inside, that keeps it from falling down the slope. My kid is only four, so he had trouble getting on the roof, and attaching the technic pieces that held the brushes. I think the set would have been doable for an actual five-year old. "

Hours of play value!
" This little polybag packs a big punch. At just 21 pieces, my kid played with this set longer than some sets with well over a hundred pieces! His favorite items were by far the bicycles. He just loved that they stood up by themselves, whether on a table or on a baseplate. The wheels turn, which added to the fun. No minifigs were included, but if you already have them, this is a no-brainer. Would love to see a new edition in a few years with new colors. "

Outstanding set for the money
" I was pleasantly surprised by how playable this shuttle is for only $10! The satellite solar panels open and close, the satellite tucks neatly into the rear of the shuttle, and of course the minifig can drive the shuttle over to make repairs. My 4 yo did most of the build himself, with minor trouble-shooting from mom. The set is perfectly sized for an incentive. Excellent experience! "

Surprisingly fun
" I bought this set as a new holiday tradition for my kid since he is obsessed with Christmas and fire stations. Because he is three, I built it myself. The build was easy enough for an adult novice. I had a bit of trouble forcing in the yellow rod at the middle of the Christmas tree. The roof was also a bit tricky, since it was all the same color. Overall, a cute set. We plan to rebuild it every year. "
