Could use a lot of improvement.
" As an engineer I was disappointed with this product.
Yes, it does what it's supposed to, BUT...
First off, 2 screws to remove battery holder? Not everyone has Phillips screwdrivers especially the size needed to unscrew these. Why not use clips that can be pressed with the fingers to release the battery holder? Lego, you have used clips before, why not for this product?
Second, using 6 AAA batteries? Why not rechargeable lithium batteries with a micro USB or USB-c port to recharge it if you are going to have a screw fastened battery holder?
With Lego's experience at this I expected better. "

Good kit, but a little disappointing
" I bought the kit to get back into Lego robotics tinkering, and it's an okay kit, but it contains no touch sensors. for the price it would have been nice had Lego added a touch sensor or two.
If Lego didn't plan on including a touch sensor it would be nice if they offered them for individual sale.
It would also be nice if it had a similar array of components for individual part sale like servo motors and such like they had for EV3.
As for recommending the kit... I would, but with reservations about the sensors and lack of additional components that make robotics interesting. "
I would recommend this to a friend!
