An absolute pleasure
" I only have positive things to say about this set. The car is beautiful. Fun and easy build. Love the little details such as printed logos and gauges. The manual shifter, parking brake and forward folding front seats are a nice touch. The engine also has its details that are a pleasure to look at. I'm a gearhead so of course I built the Turbo model. I'll probably go back and purchase another one just to be able to have the Targa model to display too. My only complaint, which is not at all a complaint on this finished product, is that I wish they offered this model in different colors. This car would look mean in all black or in the green that was offered on the 911 Turbo in the Speed Champions Series. Either way, 5/5. "

Batman™ fans and anyone who appreciates cool cars will love the LEGO® DC Batman 76139 1989 Batmobile™ model car kit for adults. This beautifully detailed LEGO brick building toy replicates the classic curves of the famous Batmobile car, as seen in the 1989 Batman movie. Measuring over 60cm long and built from 3,306 pieces, the model offers a challenging and rewarding build. Die-hard fans will love authentic features such as the slide-open cockpit with a new-for-November-2019 wraparound windshield element, 2 hidden machine guns with a pop-up function activated by turning the turbine exhaust, and decorative grappling hooks on each side of the vehicle. The Batman toy car comes with a rotating display stand (with an attached information plate with 1989 Batmobile™ statistics) for ease of viewing from any angle. A must-have for all Batman fans, this super-hero toy construction set also includes 3 new-for-November-2019 minifigures—Batman with a cape that matches his 1989 movie outfit, The Joker™ and Vicki Vale™—plus a brick-built minifigure display stand.

Again, missing parts on an expensive set
" Been wanting to build this since it came out. Finally had a few extra dollars and picked it up. Waited til my week off to build it. Got to the second step of Bag #2. Missing part. Now the whole thing is on hold and I have to wait. Not the first time this has happened on a set which has set me back a few hundred dollars. This never happens in smaller sets. I'm really let down and disappointed. I was going to wait until completion to rate the set, but again, I'm let down. And I'm a Lego fan. This was all I wanted to accomplish this week. "

Could have been perfect
" I have Lego sets all over my house and still in my old room at my parents house. I've been building for decades and now my kids build. I felt like a kid myself when the set finally arrived at my house. I opened the box and was immediately amazed at the green. There were a few knicks on the box but it's just the box. I opened the box to reveal the six smaller boxes. They looked like they have been removed before and rough handled around a bit. "Ok, it's just the boxes" I told myself again. It was a bit annoying having to remove the boxes just to remove the instruction manuals. I think the Bugatti Chiron had a better box layout with the instructions on top and the wheels on display. When I opened the book, I noticed quite a few pages with what appeared to be smeared ink. I would not expect that from an almost $400 set. Never seen that flaw in any other instruction manual. Whether in a $10 set or a $500 plus set. Not only that, some steps showed parts placed in the wrong position. One of them being in the gearbox. Good thing I caught it right away before I went further and had to backtrack. Only one part was missing from the set, but Lego sid a great job of sending a replacement part. The built itself was straight forward and enjoyable. The final product itself is amazing. I'm not stressed about the few parts that are slightly off color. The moving door mechanisms and the spoiler mechanism are really cool. I wish the "hood" were hinged and would simple lift up to display the V12 motor. Speaking of the motor, I'm glad the valve covers had the Lamborghini logo printed on them instead of me having to mess around with stickers myself. I'm glad exhaust pipe work was added to it as well and upper intake manifolds. The color itself is beautiful and the gold rims really pop. I'd recommend this to anyone but the little mistakes in the books really need to be cleaned up. Somebody really dropped the ball on quality check in that department. It could have been the perfect set. It's a shame that the book takes away from how awesome the set actually is. "
