My son's favorite toy, when it works.
" Would certainly be 5 stars if it always worked like it was supposed to.Got Mario for my 5 yr old son for Christmas. I play Super Mario with him on my old Nintendo and he fell in love with the game and characters. When he got this he lost his mind with excitement.
For the first couple of months he worked great, updated fine when he needed it, no hiccups at all. Now probably two weeks ago, it would start to get stuck on the bluetooth screen. If I could get it to connect to the app then it would do an update, and the Bluetooth screen stayed, most of the time. Sometimes it would appear to start working, then he would turn it off when he was finished playing, then turned it back on and got stuck on that screen all over again.
I've now done a complete reset probably 9 or 10 times, each times the problem seemingly gets worse. Most of the time I restore it, and it's still stuck on the Bluetooth screen. The couple of times I thought it might start working after a reset and update, it only worked on reading colors (red, blue, green, etc.) But now no longer reads any of the barcodes, even the one that came with the starter set.
I'm at my wits end with this thing, my son asks me every day if I've gotten it fixed.
