Overall good set
" I built this with my neice. She loves the train, especially that you can load the passenger car and dining cars with characters. I'd say it is worth the cost. There are a few items of improvement.
First, the train locomotive has parts that fall off easily, like the cattle shovel. the smoke stack, the front pistons and the headlight assembly.
Second, the fwd most front wheels have holes for piston rods, yet pistons don't attach to these, so it looks kinda strange. Sloppy.
Third, on the train station, the dormers on the windows are held on by one stud and are very flimsy.
Fourth, on the train station there are a large number of studs that should have been covered with tiles.
Fifth, and most bothersome, is that the doors on the train station can only open inward due to interference with the arches. New arches should be made available so that the doors can be installed to open in or out.
Lastly, the door on the dining car only opens partly outward, due to impacting the hand rails. Again, sloppy.
