A good start, but needs improving
" Having purchased and built the first three star wars helmets and being thoroughly satisfied with the build, shape and design, I was looking forward to the first Marvel helmet however it unfortunately doesn't live up to my expectations of LEGO.
The overall outer shaping of the helmet is not too bad but i think the metallic gold shaping needs work as it doesn't quite get the shaping right, it is a massive shame after all the pieces LEGO made in metallic gold the cheaped out on printing the 1 X 3 plates as the are off colour and stand out on the model.
Looking at reference images the eyes are set too far back and look a little lost on the face, however with the right pieces this is easy to fix moving the 3 X 2 slope forward.
When looking at the model from the side and back there are quite a number of large holes enabling you to see some of the internal colours like pink which doesn't look good so you will again need some pieces to fill this out which is not too difficult, around the back standard bricks are used making some of the angles quite sharp which comparing the helmet to images, the helmet is smooth.
In terms of price point, being the same as the Star Wars helmets, get those first, then the marvel helmet, being 200 pieces less is quite a difference but I understand there are a lot of dark red and metallic gold pieces in the set pushing the price up, but to then print some pieces in gold doesn't justify it.
In conclusion it is a good start but there is much to improve on and I hope LEGO spends some more time on the model as it feels in places a bit of a rush job "
