wish it comes with one more street lamp
" Not much to say - what you see is what you get : though i really wish it comes with another street lamp (better yet, the one with street name signs) - maybe take away one of the bollard light and the bench? "

The LEGO® Flower Bouquet (10280) building kit makes a unique gift or mindful project, creating a beautiful flower display model made entirely from LEGO pieces. Please note, a vase is not included. This flower bouquet delivers a vibrant display of colors and interesting shapes, inspired by real flowers such as roses, snapdragons, poppies, asters, daisies and grasses. Let your imagination bloom with customizable elements. Position the petals and leaves, then change the lengths of the stems to create wonderful arrangements for the home. Looking for the best gifts for birthdays, anniversaries or special occasions? The LEGO® Flower Bouquet set makes a special and unusual gift for friends, loved ones, or yourself, at any time of year. The stems come in a variety of lengths. As a guide, the ‘snapdragon’, with its straight stem, measures over 14 in. (36 cm) high. As the first ever LEGO® Flower Bouquet, this set includes a host of new colours and shapes that adult LEGO fans will love. The flowers are created from over 17 unusual LEGO® elements with realistic petal shapes and colours, to create an unexpected display that is sure to make people look twice. The LEGO® Flower Bouquet is part of the LEGO Botanical Collection. This revolutionary collection uses several elements made from a plant-based plastic, produced using sustainably sourced sugarcane. LEGO® components meet stringent industry standards to ensure they are consistent, compatible and connect and pull apart easily every time – it’s been that way since 1958. LEGO® components are dropped, heated, crushed, twisted and analysed to make sure they meet strict global safety standards.

decent with flaws
" Reluctantly I am giving this a 3.5 stars –I am slightly disappointed with the set. It is ranked harsher as well because it is not a good set to do anything else; and the building process is not the most interesting. I bought this as part the birthday present to my wife, and I would say the reaction I got was lukewarm at best- she doesn’t quite share my interest in Lego but I was hoping this is one set that she would find interesting; nonetheless, we did spend 3 relaxed sessions building it. Overall, it does bring a nice pop of colours and visual to any room, but there are some aspects that could’ve been better. I had the highest expectation for the roses within the set but found them a little disappointing. While I still enjoy them, and really like the colour (i wouldn't trade this for red, personally), the outer petals’ (car hood pieces) rigid, rectangular 1x2 anti-studs just really stick out like sore thumbs to me. It is noteworthy that in the smaller Roses set (#40460) lego chose to go with small “car roof” pieces for outer petals (which is already used for inner petals); from the pictures it also doesn’t look to be a great solution. I had also been intrigued by the snapdragons, and they turned out to be my favorite with the colours and shape- even if they don’t exactly look much like the real flower. The surprise of the bunch is the California poppy – it’s very simple but has such vibrancy to it. The leafy builds are not super appealing in my opinion. The much-hated black background of the manual didn’t make that big of a difference for me, but I do enjoy the additional info– love to see more, like every page – those who are not interested don’t have to read them. as usual, these tiny sets are actual great value..
" i got this as a promotion, but at 5 dollars you really can't go wrong. compared to other sets at this price, you might see more piece count and some sets might actually be better - but that shows more about how lego loves to pack value in these tiny polybag set more than anything else. as far as a beach buggy go, this is about as good as it gets in a tiny package. a few misses from being a 5 star
" As far as a CA$40 dollars set go this provides great playability and value. While i'd love to see a 8-stud wide base for both truck and trailer to provide more space, i understand the need to keep the cost down; also for such limited space, it is really well used. a few misses: the truck front can be a bit better design - i was able to change it to have a less aggressive, but more realistic/better look with a bumper (with just the pieces from the set). but more importantly - bad stickers. Granted that i dislike stickers on pretty much anything but small accessories, in this set the designs are especially bad. in some way they are realistically tacky like this type of vehicles' graphics in real life, but that is one area i dont need the lego to reflect reality. but nonetheless, this is a good set (and good parts set) and it could've been made into a creator 3-in-1 set; by adding some bricks i was able to made a fun foodtruck out of it! good add-on set with nice pieces
" the plane is solid and had many points of attachment, which increase the playability; i do wish the plane is made out of 2 pieces, though, so there can be even more playable as kids age. My son is never that huge on airplane so this set was never his favorite amongst our huge pile of duplo - if the plane can be taken apart (like body and wings?), we would've gotten more out of this little set. But other kids might just love this, and it does have great accessory pieces - a cup, a radio, a ranch, a chair, a oiling can! "

Recommended with a caveat
" I almost gave this set a 3 star, but then remembered this is a 5+ city set - 4 stars it is (5 stars is perfect/near prefect IMP, and a grade i've given to cheaper sets). the value and design are both decent, but there is one change that i feel can drastically improve the model - making the main body of the vehicle 3-4 studs wide, rather than just 2. The vehicle, as a whole, is handsome and somewhat realistic, but it just feels too narrow. This is especially pronounced in the back view when the frame between the two giant wheels (almost-monster-truck like) is smaller than each of the two tires. i am no tractor expert but after looking at photos of real tractors it still doesn't seem right to me. Another general comment for Lego is that if the technic pin connector pieces ( at the bend of the bucket arm here) are used, please provide simple pieces to cover up the holes.
Nonetheless, these points are pretty evident in the shots Lego provided; so if you are interested in the set, take a look at the 3d spin (esp. the back) - and if you don't agree with my comments then i think you will be happy with the set.

Just about perfect
" Sort of bought this in a rush to get to a certain amount; once i saw the brushes move i was excited, but foolishly believed that the wheels are linked to the brushes through gears of some sort to make them move. Before i received the item i realized that's not the case and was a bit disappointed.
Now that i've built the sweeper i am glad to say that's the moving function works just fine - the simplicity not only is necessary, but also doesn't bother me much. For the size and the price of the model it's pretty much perfect - it just looks fantastic and rather realistic. For something that took only as long as the time to write this review, it actually felt satisfying to build this tiny set. (and i've in recent months done two giant sets and several medium sets). A tiny miss for this set is a lid for the bin and a way to hook the bin to the vehicle.
All and all, about as good as it gets for a tiny set, in my opinion.

A great set for family with other sets
" we have A LOT of duplo, and i struggle to rank this set. but looking at this price range for Duplo, this has to be a 5.
Good - 1. a car that fits two figures! that's unusual for duplo. 2. having 3 figures is great for a small/medium set; the "thief" is generic enough that he can "got a new job" as my kid likes to say 3. Light and Sound brick is really great - gives good sound and light, though i wish there's a function (press and hold?) for the effect to last longer. nonetheless, a very good specialty piece.
overall, i don't think this is a great first set, as there aren't enough bricks to do much else - even though the bricks included we like (donut, door, and toilet!). but if you already have a few sets, this is a great addition! Currently the only other set with the light and sound is the fire truck #10901 - which looks like a good set as well except missing somesort of firefighting equipment. i picked this one because we had a fire truck already and the additional different bricks that this comes with.

First modular/big lego set for me...
" I am a new dad that had his Lego interest rekindled by playing Duplo with my kid. During pandemic I decided to finally get a modular set after much research (surely I am not alone). Thus this review is from an adult perspective (an architect and semi-AFOL?) of someone who loved lego as a child and never had a modular set or larger lego set (I did also build the massive Technic Mobile Crane, brief comparison on that at the end).
| Overall this is a near perfect (4.5 star) set, and took me about 11 hours in a relaxed pace. Besides a few areas that I would make minor adjustments, the exterior of the set is great; the only part I truly dislike is the water fountain – the style just doesn’t fit. Like all sets in the modular line, the side walls are odd but it’s a fair trade-off for the great interior detailing in this set – surely one of the best. The interiors of the 3 units on the main floor are near perfect – the spaces are well used with a dense, vibrant feel to them. The dentist office features wicked mini-builds on one half but feel rather empty on the other half (add file cabinet/ desk? A chair for the dentist?) The photo studio and music stores are both decent but also can use some additions. A dance studio is meant to be open, but more mirrors on the wall will be better (maybe a change room between music store/dance studio will be nice?) The AFOL’s apartment is great, and despite its small size does include elements to sleep, eat, and discharge! Outdoor kitchen is a decent build, but it feels strange to me, especially behind the extensive “roof”; I would rather see this as part of the apt, like a proper bed room/baby’s room. The rooftops are all empty, which are just begging for gardening /tanning to take place. These comments are being rather picky, but still…
| A few other points that are fair criticism: maybe it’s the architect in me, but the café corner building (left wing) features a window design that are full of holes to the outside – the arch windowd missing glass pieces really bothers me. It feels like lego didn’t include the pieces because they are discounted or something. The connection between the full and half baseplate is also not very strong. As someone who built architectural models, the thickness of the “ground plane” really grounds the model so I personally would love to see the base to be built out of regular plates so I can add a thickness to the ground and display better on its own– though I recognize that many people will surely disagree. Lastly as a none-set specific comment, I truly wish Lego would provide more extra pieces in complex sets like this – not just the usual tiny items, but some small bricks in the main colours will be much appreciated.
| Another positive worth mentioning is that this set feels very urban –even on its own it is like a mini snap shot of a vibrant city with a life of its own; while most of other modular sets seem to be more like a 1/1.5 buildings with some attached elements. For someone who is unlikely to ever build a whole lego city, this is an important consideration.
| As for big sets comparison between modular and technic: the modular set provides more nostalgic joy, and more instant rewards; and with technic I really feel like I was doing and learning something new. In a perhaps overly simple way, you can say one feeds the soul and the other feeds the mind.

A decent set; perfect for parts/rebuild
" I had thought this was interesting; then bought 2 sets on blackfriday sale for 50 CND, thinking that i could combine them to make a new building for my Assembly Square. The set itself is decent that has some nice detail; i personally dont care for the "modular" feature that allows you to switch element like window/door. For 30 dollars (regular price) it's really good value (reflected by the cost per brick).
But for my purpose - combining two to make a bigger building, it's basically perfect, and provide unbeatable value. i did not stick the two sets next to one another (which i think will be fine too); instead i rebuilt it entirely with a few technique and mini-builds from the original design, and i am really happy with the result - 2 stories of 16x16 with walls on 3 sides (but uses a party wall and stair access from my modular set). I used 2nd floor as the lego store (with two sets you are able to pack the store, which looks wicked); 1st floor is left for another businesses or two, you will just have to use some of your own pieces/accessories to dress it up. obviously to integrate it into the modular set will take more work, but for 50-60 bucks? it's great considering the price of modular sets.
Kind of wish i've gotten a third set to make it 3 stories tall.... "
