"Make sure the chain on this drop tower is tight, especially if you plan on using the power functions to run the ride portion of the model. I added two chain links initially because I though the chain was too tight. When I ran it without power functions it was fine. When I ran it with them it didn't run right. Lego is using the chain on the carriage as a portion of the braking system when ran with the power functions. Having the chain tight adds friction on the large bull wheels and keeps it from free spinning. (Overrunning)
That being said, I am absolutely enthralled with this model! Everything from the build to the Easter eggs is amazing. I had so much fun playing with the power functions and experimenting with dropping the ride at different heights! I am so glad I finally got my hands on this baby! I have all other amusement park rides lego has made and everyone of them just gets better and better. This one is top tier for sure.
Lots of attention needs to be paid when building the shaft the carriage rides in to be sure all the walls are straight and kept free from any piece being crooked in any way. This will cause the carriage to bind up.
So many details! Such a cool set! Thanks for reading and pick up this set if you love a challenge!"
