Too tall and very limiting
" Please note before you buy this that they are not Baseplates, they are just regular plates in the shape of streets that you can build and are TWO plates tall, in which case you will fail to use them with any normal baseplates you may buy for your kid or yourself since they are just not compatible (baseplates are thinner than a plate).
Therefore, it's a shame that Lego is producing this and not keeping with their own system that was already working.
One thing to say for this is: If you will only get the creator 1in3 and city set buildings that use plates as their building base, then you may get some value from these.
Conclusion: I sure hope that Lego isn't retiring the street baseplates and not replacing them with another set of the same system (different shader colour maybe). It seems to be one of those situations of fixing something that wasn't broken.
