"I remember back in probably 2009 or so they released a very similar set and man, it felt really nostalgic putting this together around a decade later.
I also really like the minifigs, they're unique and really fit more into what most people in the Star Wars community think of when they see Mandalorians (Ie Mando Mercs)."
"All in all, it wasn't that difficult to build (though I do think the age recommendation is accurate- I would hesitate to give this to a kid who hasn't already been building for a while).
I like the minifigures, though including Kara Doon or Kuiil would have been a good touch, since I doubt they'll make many Mandalorian sets.
All in all, it looks great on my bookshelf, was very satisfying to build, and I think it's one of the better sets price-wise."
"This is a very good looking set. 10 year old me would have died to own this thing when I actually *played* with them, and 21 year old me likes having it on my bookshelf.
However, it's very over priced and I am very disappointed in the fact we got a recycled Obi-Wan Kenobi figure that makes no sense for this set. His clothes got burned on Mustifar AFTER Utipa, not before. As a fairly new collector this is very disappointing, as I already own a mustifar figure after buying, well, the mustifar set.
There's nothing inherently bad about the set itself. But "back in my day" this was enough money to get a massive Slave 1 with like 6 rare minifigures, and inflation hasn't gone up THAT much."
"I used to love LEGO as a kid, and recently got back into it through LEGO Star Wars. My LEGO Architecture sets allow me to display something I really enjoy while having a more mature aesthetic to them, which is a great plus.
Paris, London, and New York are all excellent sets, and I suggest anyone who likes LEGO and wants a more sleek, mature set to display go for one of these three."
