Fun loader
" This was on a clearance table at my grocery store for $2.00 (and I have never seen any Lego sets at this store before or after this experience), so I grabbed all three of them.
I gifted two and kept this one for my Collection.

Good Christmas Village addition
" This is my first christmas set. I sure hope the rest do NOT have the black background on instruction book.
My eyes are exhausted from trying to figure out pieces on the black background, that also had a lot of glare from lights. The booklet is a huge NO.
Other than that, and two missing pieces which I am waiting on, this was a fun, engaging build.
I LOVE the elf bunk beds and the ability to rouse them all from their sleep when it's time to work. Fun mechanism using the clock as the knob. The light in the bunk room works well and is a nice addition to the set.
The chimney with its fun waffle station is terrific, although I dont know many elves that like to flip them from the skillet to the floor. I need to build a bakers table for the chef to work on.
I wish there had been more white baseplate for staging and adding scenes. The interior is very cramped and therefore limited playability. The gift wrap station is clever.
Super bummed that all four elves are pretty boring plain green and basically the same. For this price point (too high by $20 IMHO), I cant think of any reason why four distinctly different elves couldn't have been included.
