LEGO, Why did you raise the price??
" My family loves minifigures. We’ve collected the different mystery series for years now. When LEGO raised the price from $3 to $4, I rolled with it. Ok, things get more expensive. But hitting the $5 mark for a single minifig was jarring. It feels like way to much to spend on a single figure and a few accessories. I can’t justify the amount money, especially these days. So, sadly we’ll not be able to continue collecting.
All this being said, the figures are okay, we got a couple to entertain ourselves during lockdown. They are nicely made, decent detail, but I can’t help looking at them and thinking - was this worth $5? "
