Loved it but very disappointed.
" First of my pre order was nearly a week late.
(Would have been later if the post man didn't come on Friday afternoon to "chance it.")
To make things worse the big B&M had the sets almost a week early!
And finally the thing everyone is ranting about: INSTRUCTIONS ONLY ON THE APP. WHY? This is probably going to have way too many returned toys just because of this.
Even the minifigures have instructions.
So much for "only the best is good enough."

I found it easy to build everything apart from Bowser Jr so I had to look up on how to build him.
As for mario I honestly don't mind the new Gimmicky figure of him, loved hearing Charles Martinet saying: "LEGO mario time!" loved how he works,and I know you can't do anything about the creepy switched off face.
I love this product, but I honestly don't know who I can recommend this to.

Okay-ish but a downgrade
" It Nice cheep-ish way to get the newest Ninjago minifigs with that nice armour!
However I honestly still don't know how to play that board game.
(was that an afterthought or leftover from prime empire?)

A downgrade since for the same price and same year, you could get onigami and his dragon with two ninja.
