Welcome Back To Your Childhood
" What a great time. Thank you for making this set. Spread over two island halves this masterpiece brings together the Robinson Crusoe tales and cast away scenes from my favorite films, with the pirates line from the 90s and a really eye catching ship! I want to get another one so I can have the ship and the shipwreck beside one another. "

Stunning
" I truly hope LEGO will continue to make sets this beautiful. What a great midpoint between interior and exterior focus, and at $150 it's truly special. Three floors of interior design on par with any modular, and an exterior that makes any MOC designer jealous. I wish I'd taken more time to build it, and enjoy the process. One day was simply too quick. Hats off to the design team! "

Beautiful and for Display
" There are a lot of YouTubers who have placed this in their cities. It doesn't scale anywhere, but it's stunning on its own. A display in an office or somewhere in need of some plants is great, but its very large and very deep. The dual leaves is fantastic, and a nice touch, but like Sesame Street and the Blacksmith, this is incredibly nice, but the original idea was mouthwatering. Each pod has a story and something cool going on, and I find myself wishing I could go into a life size version. Goals. "

Display Piece
" This is beautiful, and a wonderful look at the incredible spectrum of things one can create with LEGO. We display it beside the new bouquet from the botanical collection, and couldn't be happier about it. Incidentally this also makes a great gift to someone, who may just turn around and fall in love with LEGO...and will be building Pirates of Barracuda Bay in a week. "

Take Your Time
" This was my first foray into NINJAGO, and while I know little to nothing about the show, this was absolutely fantastic. I loved every minute of it, and learned a ton of new building techniques. The modular and interior aspect of the set is unparalleled, and I found myself wishing there was a whole Steampunk line with "Ready Player One" "stacks" like living quarters. An Apocalypse-berg version. Unbeatable value and a spectacular final display piece. No wonder the City and Docks sets have skyrocketed in the aftermarket... "

Winnie would be happy
" This set leaves a bit to be desired as its about $20 more than it should be, and the set itself, while aesthetically pleasing, could be a touch better. Whatever corners were cut to get it under the Sesame Street price ($120), shouldn't have been. It's adorable, and looks nice, but the characters seem to overwhelm the structure. Best minifigures of 2021 so far though. There was also very little story, or unique joy in the building process, and the tree needed a friend, or at least a larger playing area. The box and unpacking process was nowhere near what $100 should get you from LEGO...small, Architecture skyline boxing, and with so many leaves making up the piece count, I'd say this isn't worth the money, and would skip it if I could go back. A solid translation from the original fan idea though. "

Lost In Translation
" Like some other Ideas sets, this falls victim to the comparison with its original concept. The fan design was akin to the official Ghostbusters set a few years ago, but the official release is a near total miss. It masquerades as something that could be a display piece, but the partial roof and open back feels unfinished from all angles. There is an alternate build which allows it to accommodate city dwellings, but that shouldn't be necessary. At $120 this set is very overpriced, and the minifigures don't make up for it. The colors feel a bit forced, and there are far too many sticker requiring elements, which don't really work without the sticker. "

The Crown Jewel
" Fantastic detail, and an incredible build. It makes one incredible display piece for any person. Most people who don't know much about LEGO are truly taken aback, and the Star Wars collection just got a lot better. Well done Jens! "

Perfection
" This set has a special place in our home, as it should. We were debating between the Nobel Collection's Hogwarts sculpture, or this. Thank God we picked this. It's perfectly massive, and the first micro-figure set to warm me up to that scale. The team's ability to weave story into every brick is both captivating and inviting. Thank you for what can only have been made with love. "

The Start Of Something Special
" This is a spectacular set. I can't stop turning the shops around, and configuring them differently. Each set of shops can be considered on par with more aesthetically loved favorites from the city lines, and architecture lines.
Growing up in Denmark and breathing LEGO for a living, to moving around the world, LEGO has had the Starbucks effect on me. I feel more at home with it around, than not. This set brings two of my favorite things together, and does so with consistently impressive building techniques and little winks from the past. Harry Potter, and LEGO are a symphonic harmony. Suddenly you're staring at two eyes and a smile, or perhaps hiding a wand or two underneath a staircase. Where is that chimney going!? Fun stuff. The brick count, and for a non nano-fig piece, is immense, but welcomed. I wish I wasn't through already, and had another few modulars to go.
Please make more.
Let's take a look at the only 2 negatives; incidentally the only 2 you'll see on forums, threads and review videos. First, the price point in conjunction with the sets modular nature. It would have been more equitable to sell it as 4 sets at 1/4th the price each; this is Diagon Alley and a licensed/themed LEGO line. Either it's a legal issue, or because the shops all go together story wise. Personally, I'm election the path towards a whole new line. There are obvious potential additions, as well as cliffhangers all over this set. From Knockturn Alley to every possible keyhole fit. Say nothing of the buildings left in Diagon Alley, we might see later. Second, the color of Quality Quiddich Supplies being far too pink...it is, and if you looked at the bricks alone you'd think you were building Honeydukes (fingers crossed). It is what it is. I like the color, but this is a display piece for me. By the time I'd finished the whole thing I liked it even more.
For the positives...stunning, clever, fantastic builds, a wonderful adventure and next level work story wise from LEGO. Each space has it's own unique touch, and the stories are plentiful. I can't wait to get a light kit for it. The colors flow very well, and I think us Potterheads will have a great time determining which is our favorite, and who places which minifig where. If this is groundzero for a new line of modulars from the Harry Potter universe, count me excited. This works well with Privet Drive 4, and the Burrow and well as a Knightbus drop off.
You've really outdone yourself here LEGO, and I once again wish I could strink into a minifig and jump in. "
