The set was very over priced at £35. £24 would have been better for the volume of bricks. If I had seen the finished set in person I would have passed on the set and waited until it was on sale. The front was very poor looking with the gaps on the sides of the headlights. The central seating arch looked odd by using the wheel arch as it’s not the same on either sides. The stickers cheapened the set and at that price they should have been prints. Robin should also have been included.
The good points.
The overall proportions look good and I like the we had an option to replace the stud shooters which I hope they do in more sets"
"This is an excellent model that is very sturdily built, you can pick it up from any place with confidence. The interior is easily accessible via removable roof and hinged cockpit. The minifigs are also excellent and well printed. I love the brick built GNK but the feet do tend to be left behind on the baseplate. The building process was also very enjoyable.
The only issue is that carrying the cargo box means you can’t fit in all the minifigs and given this is a transport ship the lack of space is disappointing. Also there was no access from the cargo bay to the cockpit.
I’m currently modifying the ship by adding 4 studs to the width and 6 studs to the length which will allow 2 minifigs to sit in the cockpit, carry 4 cargo boxes, space for a droid station, coffee station and a corridor from the cargo bay to the cockpit. Work in progress photos included."
