Far from LEGO's best.
" I have bought a ton of LEGO Star Wars in my life. This was the first set where I felt totally compelled to modify the ship after it was built. The "chin" (cockpit) is just plain bad. There are huge gaps, and if you display it at eye level you can see right into the cockpit. No control panel for the pilot seems skimpy as well. There are several videos on YouTube where people provide modification tutorials, which itself is a testament that LEGO could have done a lot better (when random people can make design improvements without even adding parts). It took me about an hour and a half to "fix" the problems with this ship, and that just shouldn't be the case. It seems that with the Star Wars ships for this year, LEGO is making some very noticeable corner cuts which is a shame.
