The Joys of Lego
" I have been tempted by a few of the Lego creator modular building sets but never brought one (mainly due to them being unavailable) so when this set was announced I was very keen to order it.
I was not disappointed, it's a fun set to build with lots of great details to it (I love the idea that they'd put a doughnut shop next to a police station (talk about know your customer :)
It's a great set to build with lots of things that are clever and fun and I will certainly be adding more buildings to this collection at some point.(Diagon alley here I come)

I highly recommend this set to fans and new builders alike be it as a stand alone display set or if you have plans on building a city or adding to one, this set will fit in well and gives loads of ideas for those creative builders out there.
I'm hopeful Lego will do led kits for these buildings to add that extra wow factor.

Good series but not standout
" I'm always eager for the next Mini figure series to come out so was a guaranteed but when series 21 was released. I'd say I'm pretty happy with the purchase. There are some great additions in this series for any collection but also a few pretty uninspiring figures to.
Now to start this series only has 12 figures and of the 12 only 8 were ones I wanted for collection (4 of them I think are very plane figures) I ordered 12 packs and got 7 of the 12 although sadly 3 of them were ones I didn't care for and I didn't get 3 of the ones I really wanted (Space Police man, Shipwreck Survivor and Aztec Warrior)

Truly Fantastic, One of the Best Lego Sets
" I have to say that Lego have always made really cool and fun sets over the many years but this could possibly be one of the Best they have ever done.
The details on this set are just fantastic from the cartridge and mechanism, the AV ports and the little hidden Easter egg inside console to the stunningly brilliant retro TV this whole set has the WOW factor, Even the colours inside both the NES and TV make me think of the colourful world of Mario.
I cant recommend this set highly enough, if your looking to make just 1 purchase from Lego this year then this is the set I say you should buy. Truly Fantastic!

A Great Display Piece
" I had been toying on and off with buying this set as I wanted something big and cool looking yet wasn't sure on paying out so much money, but after a few months of debate I decided to go ahead.
Firstly it looks AMAZING and really stands out in all my collection, Its a fun and challenging set to build but at no point was it frustrating or hard to do, so for majority of builders with experience I think they'd find this a fun set to build, and I could imagine it would be a great build for kids and parents to do together.
Price wise its pricey in comparison to some hobbies but not excessively so, and in some cases is better value.
I will say during building I did have a few times I found there were pieces I felt had no reason to be in the set as they are not seen (on inside) and add no structural strength to the kit but ultimately its so few pieces that the price value wouldn't be much different if they weren't included.

If you looking for a bigger set that is slightly challenging but lots of fun and looks cool then I'd highly recommend this set, the only Warning I would give is check you have space to display it! I hadn't measured my intended space for it and found I had to move around a lot of things to fit it in, so check first and save headaches later on!! :)
