Minifigures galore
" Simply put, this set is ALL about the minifigures, so when I saw it I knew it was just a matter of time before I bought it. Never before have I seen a Ninjago set with so many interesting minifigures packed into it. I really appreciate the fact that the creators considered what Ninjago fans wanted and delivered. This set serves both adult collectors and youngsters with its blend of old and new characters. Here we see the appearance of fondly remembered characters like Pink Zane, Harumi and Rocky Dangerbuff. Beside them are a nice variety of new characters from Prime Empire including two villains - a rat and a red visor plus a cool digi Jay. Of course to balance out this minifigure glory there are just three small skeletal structures which represent in-game shopping kiosks. This may be problematic for anyone looking for a detailed build, but with so many minifigures we can’t complain. There’s a lovely combination of bright neon colours in this set that is the perfect aesthetic for this retro gaming world and plenty of accessories that will appeal to adults and young kids alike. Overall this set really does deliver on so many levels and the minifigures are an ideal addition to our family’s ever growing cast of Ninjago characters.
