Big set, good value.
" Great for fans of mecha in general, but especially for fans of mecha AND classical literature.
This set looks even cooler in person than it does in pictures, and that is saying something. It looks great and has lots of cool details, and the staff definitely looks like it could've been a pillar in a dragon's treasury. The banners also spell out "The Great Sage Equal to Heaven," a nice nod to the title the monkey king desired for so long. I also appreciate the ability to "unlock" the knees to trade some stability for posability, though that may not have been intentional.
The side builds are also great, I love the mini restaurant build and the peak of Flower-Fruit Mountain, especially the printed peach pieces.
As for the minifigs, the Sun Wukong (monkey king) minifigure looks fantastic, and, like the mech, looks even nicer in person. Monkie Kid and the bull robots also look great.
