Good for What it Wants to be
" The figures are both good, especially Wedge. The imperial speeder is simple but distinctive, so while it's not extremely detailed, it's great for kids to play with.
The snowspeeder itself is similar. It's sturdy, it's easy and fun to swoosh around, and it's easy to put away after play sessions.
The gun/terrain emplacement offers a disk launcher, which is pretty satisfying to use, and makes good use of the part count.
While on a price-to-part ratio it fails, on a stuff-to-price ratio it's definitely worthwhile. It also offers a complete play experience in a single set, giving you both a good guy, a bad guy, and a vehicle for them to run around in, which can be lacking in many more detailed sets.
