Good for displaying in water... but that’s it.
" I purchased this set for my son, who is 4 but has a basic idea of Lego’s. Now, that being said I purchased the yellow single hull boat when it was out and thought it was pretty cool. I was even more excited for a boat that would float. I feel it’s a bit misleading.
Between the points where the steering fins attach to the boat there is an open hole. So if you were to play with this in a bath tub to any degree the hulls will take on water and sink.
That’s my only gripe. Otherwise it was a cool build and can be displayed along with the other sailboat if you can build a cradle for it to sit on with the stabilizers tucked all the way in.
Not disappointed, but not impressed. The other green speedboat released in the Lego city line takes on water too. Should’ve been one piece hulls. Oh well, maybe next time. "
