Return of the A Wing
" Having recently completed the Y Wing and may the 4th around the corner I was excited to see the less popular a wing get the ucs treatment
First the booklet, it was nice to read all the information about the a wing and the challenges of the design compared to the more industrial looking rebel fighters and learning little known facts of how it gained its red colour and the design process itself.
The model itself is great and has a real presence and swoosh factor! And the accompanying mini figure has some really nice details from the dual printed face to the film accurate helmet
The not so good, given in the booklet the designer states himself that brick count doesn't really matter only making the best model counts i was quite with the rear sides of the engines being quite hollow and requiring a large sticker for some artifical detail also causing it to be fairly loose and not secure. The same can also be said with the windscreen which is fixed in place and again requires stickers which I find a shape as this was made especially for this model
On the whole it really is a great piece but when comparing it to the y wing I feel that as the cost was higher it should be justifying that where as I feel it is of lower standard compared to other ucs pieces

" Being a big fan of both fast and the furious and lego cars when I saw this I had to pre order it
This was my first technics and based of this not sure I would get another. I didn't find the build that enjoyable and the finished result looks a little comical in size compared to other the other lego cars i have
The front and rear of car could do with being a lot more secure as they are very flimsy. I took it apart and re did as usually flimsy means you did it wrong but this is not the case on this model.
The positives, the engine and suspension are great and add a real play factor to the model. Its just a shame the overral detail is not up to the standard I have come to expect and just feel they could have done a little more - here's hoping for the supra

Now this is a Mustang
" After building the Aston Martin and enjoying the experience I was on the lookout for another car that would fill the void
After seeing all the positive reviews and always admiring (from afar) the mustang when I finally found it in stock I bought it.
The vehicle is level of accuracy I have not seen before on their cars. Sometimes there is always a compromise but this looks great from all angles. The colour just pops and a great deal of the pieces are printed which is a nice change!
Best bit after reading, building? You then get additional parts to mod the car from a spoiler, to exposed engine and exhaust
There was 2 pieces missing however a quick message on here and had the pieces from lego in no time

Bond..James Bond
" Ever since I saw this car in goldfinger I fell in love with Aston Martin so when I saw this set I had to get it.
The level of detail from the gadgets to the great facts in the book itself is on another level and was really surprised me and set the bar for what is achievable in lego model.
The ejector seat is by far the standout piece
Only thing that let's this model down is where is the James bond mini fig??? I mean all the gadgets and not the man himself
With this I feel this set would have been perfect

Who doesn't want a Harley?!
" Bought for my brother who is missing his bike during this time. Absolutely loved the build though there was real frustration with the stickers would be great to cut these down and use more printed pieces
Prefer this model over the technic bikes they have done a really good job getting the shape and feel of a harley though chrome would have been preferred to grey for representing the large parts of exposed metal on the bike
