"This is my favorite minifig in Ninjago! The spinner is a translucent light blue. Sensei Wu is in a black outfit which is highly detailed. The gold dragon on the back of his torso is amazing. He also has Japanese symbols down the front of the torso. Sensei Wu also comes with his stylish "stache" and hat. I was very happy to receive the hat given how the original spinners did not include them! His weapons are also very cool. He comes with a golden sword, golden staff, and golden "kusari gama." This minifig looks the best and I would definitely recommend purchasing this spinner set. Pros: Awesome Sensei Wu Minifig Cool transulcent blue spinner Fun weapons including sword and staff Hat is included White bricks 4 cards

LEGO Ninjago: Lord Garmadon(2256)
Lead the skeleton army into battle against the Spinjitzu masters!
"I was very psyched to hear that Lord Garmadon was going to be a spinner. His spinner is a translucent purple, which is very cool. He is all black except for his printed purple belt and skeleton effect ribs. He has a menacing looking face which is very detailed. I like that he comes with his samurai helmet and bone accessory. His weapons are really well done, especially the double bone scythe and the purple and blue thunderbolt. He also comes with a sword. I don't know why he came with lime green bricks, but that's not a big deal. I would say that this is one of the best spinners and minifigs in the Ninjago line. Pros: Lord Garmadon minifig Awesome purple spinner Cool weapons Helmet is included! Cons: Lime green bricks? Should be purple or black Price: I think the price for the spinners are a little high based on what you receive.

"...I tip my hat to you!!! This set introduces many different headware pieces to the mix. The 4 female minifigs are the only ones with a hair piece. The other 12 have some type of hat, headgear, or helmet. I'm such a huge fan of all the minifigures series. Luckily, I do have all of them so far. I will admit that this is the first time I noticed the "cheaper plastic" that is used for them. I spent about an hour at my local retail store locating each figure. I will give a quick review of each figure in order of the miniposter and what to look for when feeling the packages.
The Graduate has a very happy expression on his face (just like mine when I found all of these), a diploma, cap, and gown. The gown does stick out a little when it's on the body. He has gray legs and a black sweater vest with shirt and tie. He is the only minifig with square pieces, so feel for the cap or diploma.
The Gladiator is probably my favorite of this series. His gold helmet is huge. He has very detailed printing on the front of his torso and legs. He also has partial arm printing of gold armor. He also comes with a sword and shield. Feel for the helmet and round shield.
The Royal Guard has black legs and a red coat. He comes with his tall hat and rifle. The strap of his hat is printed onto his face. Feel for the hat and gun.
The Ice Fisherman is a very detailed figure. His hood is very cool (has a more detailed fur lining) and he also comes with a fishing rod and fish. I don't think we needed another fisherman, but the hood and eskimo details make up for it. Feel for the fishing rod.
The Cavewoman is very cute. Third favorite in the series. Her animal hyde clothes are printed on the front and back of her torso and the legs have front detailing. Her red hair is squishy and she comes with a giant club (just like the caveman from series 1). A bone also fits into her hair. Feel for the club that ends with a smooth handle.
The Lizard Man is awesome!! He is my second favorite. The lime green looks great. He has a spikey tail, lizard helmet, and printed torso. The helmet has eyes, teeth, and spikes. Find the spikey tail piece.
The Zoo Keeper comes with a monkey!! and banana accessory. She has the same legs as the Explorer (from series 2). Her uniform has a key and the word "zoo" printed on it. She has a smirk on her face. The monkey is a clever added bonus. The banana is the easiest accessory to feel.
The Lumberjack is very cool. His torso has double sided printing AND he has arm printing of the flannel shirt. I really like the beaver printed on his hat. I think that is hilarious! He also comes with a detailed axe, which is really easy to find in the package.
The Small Clown is very colorful. Light green mini-legs, red coat, yellow with blue polka dot tie, and a blue hat with a printed flower. He also comes with a pie that is awesome. He has a white face and hands. Feel for the pie or hat and verify it by checking the legs. Mini-legs don't bend.
The Fitness Instructor looks like a girl from the 80's with her light purple boom box, spandex, leg warmers, and headband. The headband is printed on her face. She is very similar to the series 2 pop star. I like her pink outfit and long hair. The boom box is great. Feel for the hair and rectangular boom box.
The Dectective looks a lot like Sherlock Holmes. He comes with a magnifying glass and a cool hat with ear flaps. His coat is very detailed and he has some epic sideburns. The magnifying glass is really easy to find.
The Dwarf is really well done. He has a cool helmet, battle axe, shield, and beard. His face reminds me of Blackbeard from the Pirates of the Caribbean line. His torso is really nicely detailed which is why you need two of these, so you can keep the beard off one of them. Finally, the shield has a dragon face on it. Finding the beard is probably the easiest because it feels like body armor (like the hockey player from series 4). The helmet, handle of axe, and short mini-legs are also ways to find him.
The Boxer is really cool. He is the only minifigure to have dual face printing. One smiling and the other with a black eye, post fight face. AND his boxing gloves are his hands and not separate pieces. He has printed trunks and the waist and muscles are printed on the torso. He also comes with a sparring helmet. Since he lacks other accessories, feel for the glove hands instead of regular hands. They are bigger and rounder. Also, try to find the helmet.
The Egyptian Queen is very elegant. She has printed Egyptian symbols on her torso and block legs. She also has gold jewelry in her black hair. She has blue eye shadow and goes with the Pharoah from series 2. A green snake is included. She is easy to find because she's the only one with block legs which are very obvious.
The Gangster is fantastic. He has a black and white pin striped suit, black cowboy hat, violin case, and gun. The gun fits inside the case. The case is a little hard to open, but once you get it, it's fine. I really like his facial expression. This is a top notch figure!! Feel for the gun, hat, or violin case.
Finally is the Snowboarder. He has gray legs, blue fleece jacket and knit cap, white with blue detailing snowboard, and his goggles are printed on his face. The snowboard and hat are easy to feel.
Overall, this a strong series of minifigs. I like that there are four females since they are more rare in regular sets. The printing detail is amazing on most of the figs. Finally, the accessories are really cool. The pie, hats, helmets, axe, beard, clubs, boom box, shields, animals, etc. add so much to the value of the series. Again, I wish that LEGO would use the normal plastic to produce these. I also hope that LEGO will give extra accessories in future series as they did in the first two waves.
Thanks for reading. I hope this helps you find the figures you want the most. Please check out my other reviews."
"I was soooo excited to hear that LEGO was making a Star Wars Advent Calendar. I had the City and Kingdoms Advent Calendars last year and this blows them out of the galaxy!! It is really fun opening up each day and getting a small present of your favorite LEGO theme. This set features 8 minifigs that includes the exclusive "Santa Yoda." The Clone Pilot, Chewbacca, and Nute Gunray are some of the rare minifigs included in the set. I won't spoil all the fun!! The little space ship designs are just so cute. The Millennium Falcon, X-Wing Fighter, TIE Fighter, and the Republic Gunship are a few examples of what you will find. The builds are very easy and the directions are pretty clear. When it comes to opening only one each day, Yoda said it best.."Control, control, you must learn control." Then Obi Wan reminds us..."Patience!!" I would absolutely recommend this set. Buy it before it sells out!! Pros: Star Wars themed Advent Calendar 24 days of ships, minifigs, and accessories 8 minifigs including Santa Yoda Easy to build Cute little ships

Geonosian Starfighter™
Geonosian Starfighter™
Overall:
4/5
This set isn't the bomb, it's the Proton Torpedo!!
"This is a fun, but slightly expensive little set from Attack of the Clones. It comes with 3 minifigs and the Geonosian Starfighter. The ship is very well designed and is bigger and longer than I expected. I really like the rotating blaster cannon and the way the proton torpedo is released from the bottom of the ship. It's really clever the way the torpedo slides out of the holder, when you open the bottom hatch. I really like how the back engine was put together. The two half rounded pieces fit like a ball that goes into the "cup-like" piece. Then it's easy to move around as you zoom the ship around. The Geonosian pilot fits inside the cockpit really nicely. The minifigs in this set are great. Commander Cody is a treat (just like Captian Rex in the Battle of Geonosis set). He has a different clone head, orange arms and striped helmet, and the gray clone battle armor and pistols. Ki-Adi Mundi is a great minifig. He's wearing his brown Jedi robes and has a dual printed torso. The hair piece is cool because it gives him his "cone head" look and has his hair tied in the back. It also makes him a little taller than most minifigs. Finally, we have a new Geonosian minifig. He his very detailed with double torso printing and has printing on his front legs. The head is hard plastic and not rubber like Kit Fisto or Yoda. I really like the printing on the head. It has detailed eyes, mouth, and nose. I wish more Geonosians were included in the set (or in the Battle of Geonosis)!! Overall, this set has a cool starship with fun features and three fantastic minifigs. Pros: 3 minifigs Very detailed Geonosian Pilot Ki-Adi Mundi Commander Cody Cool Starfighter Size and design of ship Fun features: Proton Torpedo launcher and movable cannon. Clone trooper armor and weapons No stickers! Cons: Only one Geonosian?? A little expensive for the size of the set."
"I am starting a nice "tree collection" of Lego sets. The Ewok Attack, Pirates of the Caribbean The Cannibal Escape, and Harry Potter's The Forbidden Forest all have a primary tree theme. I guess next, I'll have to get the Kingdoms' King's Carriage Ambush that has two trees!! Anyway, the tree in the Ewok Attack set is probably the best tree thus far. It has many hidden traps to fend off the Imperial Biker Scout. The tree has a "rock catapult", a log rolling feature, a "flick fire log", and a secret hiding spot inside the tree. It also has a ladder to reach the treetop! The entire tree is a pretty good size. The set also comes with a nice speeder bike. The bike is very cool. I like how it has an ATV like frame for the seat and back area. It also has a slight swivel section in the middle that connects the front to the back. The bike is very movie accurate. The minifigs in this set are great. It's always exciting to get another Biker Scout. I wish that Lego could create a true Biker Scout pistol/blaster. That was a very unique looking gun in the movie!! The Biker Scout is detailed on the front of the torso, has a black head, and the cool helmet! The two Ewoks are really nice. Tokkat is black with a green headdress and a bow weapon. Logray is tan and white striped with his medicine bag, spear, and skull headdress. The ewoks have short legs and a blank torso. The head piece has all the details of the head and body, just like the Chewbacca, Watto, or Thi-Sen minifigs. Overall, I think this is a great classic Star Wars Lego set. I really think it has good play value because of all the features it has and the minifigs are top notch!! Pros: 3 minifigs Logray Tokkat Biker Scout Detail on Ewoks Cool speeder bike Fun accessories on tree: rock catapult, rolling logs, and hidden compartment. Decent sized tree No stickers Cons: Could've used another minifig on each side. Another Ewok or Stormtrooper would've been cool. I would have liked to see extra Imperial helmets to recreate the drum scene from the movie. A true biker scout gun would be awesome."
"Unlike Imperial Admirals thoughts about bounty hunters, we do need them and want them!! This is a cool set with a decent sized ship. Even better is that this set costs less than the T-6 Jedi Shuttle but has the same number of pieces! The name of the ship is called "The Halo" as we learn when Sugi rescues Chewy and Ahsoka from the Trandoshans in the season finale of the cartoon. The build of the ship was pretty easy. A few problems with the set are: only one minfig can fit in the cockpit, another IG-86, and the engines tend to slide into "landing mode" when you don't want them to. I like where you store the holocron, but wasn't that impressed with the holocron itself. I do like the gun rack in the cockpit, the rotating engines, and the cargo/prison area. I like how you can lift up the back cargo area to reveal the bars of the prison. The colors of the ship look good. Onto the minifigures: The minifigs are the best part of this set!! Embo is great because of the detail on him. His torso and legs are very detailed. The hat, shoulder pieces, crossbow, and detail of his face are fantastic. Aurra Sing is also an awesome minifig. She has an orange flightsuit and the hair piece is really cool. She also has her dual blasters. Sugi is pretty cool and is the female Zabrak pilot of the ship. Her facial tattoos and horns are printed on. She has a knife and a blaster. Finally is IG-86, the black assassin droid. He's been in a few sets already and wasn't really necessary here. It would've been much better if Seripas was included instead. Overall a fun set with really nice minifigs! Pros: 4 minifigs Embo Aurra Sing Sugi Prison/cargo area on the ship Cool rotating engines Secret compartment for holocron Cons: Another IG-86, when Seripas would've made more sense Holocron isn't that great Engines slide down when not wanted Stickers Can only fit one minifig in cockpit"
"This is a great set from the Toy Story line. I think it's cool how the army guys have the green base piece that resembles what a little green army man would have. The Jeep is awesome. I have a Jeep so I may be a little biased in favor of it! It is really well designed and easily "zoomable" on the table or floor. The 4 army guys are really well detailed. The WWII uniforms are great. I like the helmets, guns, walkie talkies, mine detectors, etc. These figures can be easily customized. That is why I have a few of them. Overall, this is a wonderful set to own. Pros: 4 army minifigs Jeep Helemts, green bases, guns, and other accessories Easily able to customize them Price is very good for all that comes in set Can make battles with the soldiers from Indiana Jones (German or Russian)"
"It was just as surprising and maybe a little more funny when Zurg said this to Buzz just like Darth Vader said it to Luke. I was excited to put this little ship together. I always liked the Toy Story movies and was happy to have Buzz's Spaceship with Emperor Zurg. The ship has a cargo hold section for the moon buggy. I was very impressed with the buggy. It is a very cute and small vehicle and seems like an added bonus to this set!! I was happy that Buzz is able to sit in the cockpit with his wings still attached. The playability of this set is really high based on the ship, space buggy, opening of the cargo area, and the size of the ship. It is really easy to hold and swoosh around. The two minfigs are awesome. Buzz comes with his space suit, detachable wings, and helmet piece. The "glass" of his helmet was a little tricky to get on. Zurg is great. He has a purple block body and I was impressed how much taller he is than Buzz. He comes with his flick missle gun, just like in the movie. I also liked his two part and two colored cape. Red on the inside and black on the outside. I normally don't bother putting the capes on my minifigs because I think they are harder to display that way, but I had to put the capes on Zurg. It just makes his character more realistic. Overll, this is a great set. Pros: Zurg Buzz Buzz's Starship and Moon Buggy Purple pieces on ship Cargo hold Cool two colored cape Cons: Stickers for the wings and logos. (They were actually pretty easy to match-up, so they weren't as annoying as usual.) "Glass" part of Buzz's helmet was tricky to get on. (I have the Pizza Delivery set that had Buzz, and I didn't have this problem with that set.)"
"History lesson: Ponce de Leon was a real life explorer who was looking for the fountain of youth. He never found it! He did "discover" Florida though. Too bad Jack Sparrow wasn't around back then! Anyway, this is a fun little set from the POTC line. The build was pretty simple. The fountain looks pretty cool with the blue pieces. The archway is interesting based on the "plasticy" piece of the waterfall. The columns look nice, but they seem to fall apart pretty easily. There are 4 minifigs if you count the skeleton that comes with the set. The main 3 are Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbossa, and Blackbeard. Jack is in every set in this line (just like Harry Potter in his line), and this is the same fig as in the captain's cabin. Still, Jack is very well detailed and comes with his trusty compass and bandana hair piece. I like this version of Barbossa with his British Navy uniform. I like his hat and the peg leg. Finally, Blackbeard is awesome. His hat and beard pieces are classic. The detail of his torso and legs are really nicely done. He comes with the best sword in the POTC line!! I would have liked to see an Angelica in this set. She was vital to the scene in the movie and it would've been nice to have her here. Pros: 3 very detailed minifigs of Jack, Barbossa, and Blackbeard Blackbeard's sword Skeleton Glad to see printed tile for the fountain water top Cons: Not a very sturdy set. The columns on the waterfall side and the fountain itself topple over pretty easily. Angelica should have come in this set!"
