"The Captain's Cabin is a cool little POTC set. It has 3 excellent minifigs. Jack has his bandana, compass, sword, and map. His costume is printed on very nicely. The zombie pirates are also very cool. I like the one with the long black hair piece. He reminds me of a Ugha Warrior from the Indiana Jones theme. The pirates both have swords and guns. The rest of the details of this set are cool. The globe is really well done as is the skeleton leg table. Finally, there is the display case with the two ships in a bottle. Overall a fun little set. This is a great starter set for the POTC line!! Pros: 3 minifigs Jack with compass and sword 2 zombie pirates 2 ships in a bottle Globe Skeleton leg table Cons: None"
"This is a pretty good set from Pirates OTC. I like that you get 4 minifigs in this set. Jack, Elizabeth Swan, Barbossa, and the skeleton. Jack has a dual head in this set. One side is ghost like and the other is his normal face. He is wearing his bandana head piece in this set. The printed detail is pretty impressive on all the minifigs. Elizabeth is a very cool fig. She also has a dual expression of scared and smiling. I really like the detail of her hair. I'm not a big fan of the "block" legs, I would prefer standard legs with some detailed printing on them. Barbossa and the skeleton are cool. I like the hat they both have (it's the muskateer hat from the minifigures series 4). The detail of his uniform is well done. The skeleton could be used in the Ninjago line spinners because the feet are the same. The little boat is cool and the set build was pretty easy. I think the spinning feature to reveal Barbossa -vs-Skeleton Barbossa is interesting. I like all the gold pieces that come with this set. I really don't remember the movie that much, so I don't know what is up with the apple?!? I do like this set and would recommend it! Pros: 4 minifigs Liz Swan is awesome Jack and Barbossa are well detailed Gold pieces Spinning mechanism Small boat Skeleton Barbossa -vs- Kai grudge spinner match Cons: What's the deal with the apple? Didn't Barbossa have a monkey? That would've made a better accessory Block legs for Liz"
"This is a fun Pirates of the Caribbean set. It comes with Jack Sparrow with his warrior paint, Will Turner, and 2 cannibals. I was surprised that the tree hut is so big. It really is a nice playset. The skeleton cage is really well designed and is held up by a chain. I was impressed that the throne is a printed piece and not a sticker!!! I also like the roasting spit. It could double for an Endor set as well!! All you need are some Ewoks and Han on the roasting spit! I like the parrot that also comes with the set. Jack has his bandana hair piece in this set. As I mentioned above, he has warrior paint on his face. He also has a dual expression. One normal and the other surprised. Will is a cool minifig. He has a sword and a cool hair piece. I really like the cannibals. They have really detailed printed torsos and faces. Each has a spear and a bone in their hair. Overall, I really like this set. Pros: 4 minifigs Detailed faces on Jack and cannibals Big tree hut Parrot Throne has a printed piece and not a sticker Roasting spit Skeleton cage Cons: None"
"This is a fun little collection of 2 police officers and 2 robbers. It comes with an ATM and some LEGO cash. The ATV that the police officer rides in is pretty cool. I like the white and blue colors. Also, the tires are pretty big given the overall size of the vehicle. The driver has sun glasses on the minifig face. I like the handle of the flashlight because it is a black lightsaber hilt. I like the "scruffy" faces of the robbers. I think the dog in this set is cool. He has some black markings that give him a German Shepherd appearance. The ATM is awesome because the cash tiles fit in it really well. The robbers have a crow bar to bust it open and then the chase is on... Overall this is a fun little set to collect. Pros: 4 minifigs 2 cops, 2 robbers 1 police dog 1 ATM with cash tiles 1 ATV 1 black flashlight handle Cons: Only 1 dog and 1 flashlight. Should have had more money pieces or at least different demoninations."
"This set is ok. The boat build is very simple because it is only 64 pieces. The boat floats and is pretty big. I like the Dad and son minifigs for this set. It is always cool to get a kid minifig because they are rare. I also like the shark in this set. It is pretty cool with its biting feature. Too bad the whole fish doesn't fit in its mouth. Overall, this set is pretty good, but I am ranking it so low because I think it is overpriced because of the piece total. I will give it one more positive note and say this is the least expensive decent sized boat out there. Pros: Decent sized boat 2 minifigs 1 dad and 1 child Accessories (life jackets, fishing rod, cups) Shark and fish Cons: Number of pieces Stickers on part of boat that goes in the water Not a lot of room on boat for other minifigs"
"I think the tractor trailer truck is pretty sweet. It is really big and is easily manuverable for a vehicle of that size. It attaches to the cab very securely. The cab is very roomy and the top comes off to reveal a bed and TV for the driver on those long road trips. The trailer has double doors on the back and on one of the sides to load the cargo. I was very excited that the cargo is 9 miniboxes of LEGO sets!! That was a cool feature for this set! This comes with two minifigs a driver and a worker to unload the truck. The worker comes with a dolly to stack up the boxes. Overall this is a great set. Pros: Big trailer Nice cab 2 minifigs 9 boxes of LEGO sets (very cute) Trolley Cons: Stickers for the LEGO logos on the cab and trailer. It would've been very cool to have these as printed pieces."
"Anytime you have Griffindor and Slytherin in the same room, trouble is brewing. This is a cute little set of a Quidditch match. You only get three goal hoops, but one is much taller than the others. It wasn't that difficult to bend the piece to form the hoops. This set comes with many accessories including: beater's clubs, broomsticks, bludgers, quaffles, golden snitch, and the House Cup. The Ravenclaw tower is quite tall and detailed. Madam Hooch, Harry Potter, Oliver Wood, Marcus Flint, and Draco Malfoy are all in their Quidditch uniforms. The unis have white legs and red or green tops depending on which team. For the cost of this set, 5 minifigs and 3 goals is a great deal. It would've been cool to have a few more players for each team, especially the Weasleys (Fred, George, Ron, and Ginny). Or sub sets that have the other two houses of Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Overall this is a fun set. Pros: 5 minifigs 3 Goal hoops Ravenclaw Tower Accessories Cons: None"
"I love this train set of the Hogwart's Express. The colors, length, accessories, minifigs, and car are all great! The red and black engine, tender car, and passenger car are really brilliant. I like how the passenger car top opens up so you can set up the minifigs easily. The train fits onto regular train tracks. I think the accessories of the snack cart with the chocolate frog and ice cream, the Daily Prophet and Quibbler papers, the trunks, wands, and invisibility cloak are awesome. The blue flying car is really well designed. It's lots of fun to zoom the car around the train. The minifigs in this set are amazing. This is the only set where Harry has gray legs with his blue jacket and ringer tee. Ron is awesome in his red plaid sweater and black pants. Luna is cute with her pink shirt and detailed pants. Ginny and Draco have their house uniforms of Griffindor and Slytherin respectively. Ginny and Ron have cool hair pieces. All of these figs have dual sided faces. Overall this is a fantastic set! Pros: Train Engine Train Tender car Train Passenger Car Passenger car top opens up Magnets to hold train together Mr. Weasley's blue flying car Invisibility cloak Food Trolly with chocolate frog!! Awesome 5 minifigs Draco in Slytherin uniform Cons: No tracks Stickers It would've been cool to see Luna in her house uniform."
"This is the only place to get all three main characters (Harry, Ron, and Hermione) in their Griffindor uniforms in one set. The only other set with all three characters is Diagon Alley but they're in casual clothes. Hagrid's Hut is a much more cost effective way to get the Big Three and Hagrid too. The hut is designed very well. It is quite big, sturdy, and is able to open up for easier play. It also has a light up brick which is very cool. It simulates a fire for whatever Hagrid is cooking. This is my first light brick, so I was pretty excited by it!! The inside of the hut is very detailed down to the cooking pot, table, and accessories (cups, pink umbrella, letters, etc.) The outside of the hut has some pumpkins, flowers, and mushrooms. I was excited about the pumpkins because they are a Jack-O'Lantern minifig head. (I actually made a Headless Horseman with one of the extra pumpkins). This set has many animals including an owl, Nortbert, Skabbers, Aragog, and little spiders. Hagrid is a bigger minifig. I like how his beard and hair are connected by one piece. His minifig head looks funny if you don't put on the hair/beard piece. He comes with his crossbow, lantern, and pink umbrella/wand. Harry, Ron, and Hermione all are great in their uniforms. I really like the new hair pieces for Ron and Hermione. Overall this is a great set! Pros: Only set to have Harry, Ron, and Hermione Hagrid Light up brick Pumpkin minifig heads Aragog and other animals (Nortbert) Many cool accessories Hut opens up for easier play and closes for better storage Big sturdy hut Cons: I'm not a big fan of the stickers that represent the bricks on the hut. The roof panels pull off easily when trying to open or close the top."
"This is a fun little set. The car is very small, just like a Smart Car. It comes with one minifig and he has a suit case. He has the hoody torso and green legs. The car is sturdy and is great for zipping along the table/road. Pros: Cute car 1 minifig Cost is very nice for this set Cons: None"
