"This stunning lego set is awesome set here's my reasons why. 1.the details the details of this set is one of the
2.The backstory the backstory is very good and in the set you can tell the influence's in the building to al's barber shop or the kitchen to Detective’s Office its self
3. the look the looks on this set is very detailed and reminds me of the 1930's downtown of a average American town at the time.
my conclusion this set is worth all the money its worth"

"Detail and playability seem not to go hand in hand with modular buildings. Very detailed modelled, and nice hidden tunnels and doors, but small rooms make it hard to play with them.
Compare this to the Grand Emporium, with it's massive floors and escalators, but all detail we got was a dressing room and small till.
We shouldn't complain too much in my opinion, or we end up with £250 modular buildings that combine both detail and playability."

"I'm a huge fan of the modular buildings so I was dying to get my hands on the detectives office. It did not disappoint! It was an easier build than some others but I enjoyed every minute. I love the mish mash of colours and the brick work. It's got some amazing features like the pool table, ceiling fan, water tank and the newspaper stand. Now it's built, my kids can't stop playing with it. It's definitely a favourite in our house!"

"I got this for myself for a 20th birthday present, and it took me a few days on and off building. And it was all worth it.
It might just be the best LEGO set I've ever gotten, as well as the biggest, most expensive set I've ever gotten. There's just so many great little details, such as the toilet on the first floor, the pool table on the ground floor, and the new mirror piece.
