"Having reignited my love of LEGO with the Parisian restaurant, I next tackled the detectives office. Again, simply blown away by the detail. There’s a narrative with this one which is great. A hidden grate, secret tunnel, James Bond style hidden compartment behind a cabinet and a secret wall safe. The micro-builds were great with this model ... an exquisite pool table, swinging ceiling fan, water tower, a remarkable “POOL” sign, newspaper stand and detective’s desk. The roof architrave is astonishingly detailed. No repetition, just new building styles all the way through. The worst part ... coming to the end and realising there isn’t a fourth floor to build!"

"This set grew on me after I built it. Initially I found it less than impressive due to it's smaller footprint on the baseplate. But once it's placed among other expert modulars it really becomes much more. The varying heights and colors contrast wonderfully against other buildings. The water tower on the roof is a fantastic exterior detail I want to replicate to other buildings in my city. The pool sign is awesome! And the detail along the roof line is a great view from the street"

"Continuing on to Detective's Office, I was anxious to get this one because of the pool hall. I really thought that was a unique detail/scene to include. Another unique add were the trap door and hidden compartments through out. The instructions combined into one book was also a great idea, as it kept everything synonymous and flowing during the build. I look forward to putting together Brick Bank!"
