One Small Step for LEGO
" I originally supported this set when it was on Ideas and was excited when it was chosen. Now after a year of waiting, its finally part of my collection. AS-506 took five hours to build and was a project between me and my son. The build is challenging but not hard to follow, and uses a number of excellent techniques to get the shape and details of the Saturn V.
The first stage takes the longest with eight bags and is the largest and heaviest. The detail of the five F-1 engines is exquisite. The ability to “stage” is a real plus, and the attach points are solid and hold the weight of the complete model.
The LM that can be both displayed landed on the Moon and be fitted within the SLA behind the CSM makes both display and “play” excellent. The CSM can be in launch mode, docked to the LM and displayed “splashed-down” is again a true plus.
And the value of $149 (CAN) for 1969 pieces (get it?) makes it’s part-per-price excellent.
In closing, I feel this set is everything LEGO Ideas was set up to do in the first place, and I recommend this for collectors, teachers and kids of all ages to imagine their own “Moon Shots” "

Jedi Eta-2
" I saw this online and knew I had to have it. I was not disappointed. The build was excellent and the folding wing feature works great. The three bag system of assembly is great. If you love Star Wars LEGO, this is a worth addition to the collection. I only wish it had clear pieces you could use to display the wings out. I recommend this highly. "
