Great, not stackable
" For the price you pay the set is pretty perfect, but it does have some minor flaws.
The set is not stackable with the other Summer Heart Boxes due to the positiong of some of the tiles on top. I’m not sure why that was done as the stacking feature was one of the best of the first wave of heartboxes. This can be easily modified, by taking off one jumper tile, but it seemed like something that should’ve been changed before these sets went into production
I think the colours could’ve been different for each of the friends, everyone having coral and aqua seems a little excessive.
Apart from those two minor problems I quite enjoyed this set. It’s quite easy to build and then rebuild if you break it. The play feature with the water gun is quite fun and the balloon animal build is cute. Oh and the printed beach tile is fun!
It’s also very nice that Stephanie gets an exclusive torso here and a fairly rare skirt piece. This is a personal nitpick, but I do wish there was some consistency with the colours. Stephanie and Olivia are wearing their favorite colours while the other three aren’t. I think it would’ve made sense if everyone wore their faourite colors or not. "
I would recommend this to a friend!

There's no telling how far you'll go with this set
" When I heard LEGO was making Moana sets I had my doubts, I mean have you seen the other Disney Princess sets? Some of the worst licensed sets LEGO has put out, but this is the opposite... This set is great!
The ship is very large and there isn't really anything wrong whit it. I can nitpick a few things, I don't understand the point of flowers and it's a shame the sail is only on one side. Oh I'm really impressed with the opening hatch for food!
The island looks nice, but it isn't as good as it could be. Putting the heart of TeFiti back in and turning the island around is fun, but that's about it. There's no playfeatures and when you fold the rock that holds the heart down, there's no room for Moana. Its a shame you can't have her and Maui standing on the island, but I imagine most people will have the plates to expand it. Another issue I have with the island is Te Kã isn't very threatening, she could at least have arms or hands, but she's basically just a statue. Hopefully Te Kã won't be the only villain to grace this theme as we've definitely been missing them!
I have no issue with the Kakamora boat, it's sized down sure, but it does the trick and it's a nice inclusion.
Apart from Te Kã the figures are excellent.
Maui which I assume will be the main draw for this set is amazing. His hook is a really fun and unique build too.
Moana's hair and face looks great! I would've liked this outfit to look more different from the one in 41149 though, perhaps her chieftan's outfit. The outfit they gave her is nice, but when the two are beside eachother they look very similar.
For those wondering about HeiHei's eyes, this set was based off early concept art where HeiHei was an angry protector of Moana. HeiHei looks amazing though and I really love this new rooster mould and I hope we get to see it in future Friends sets.
The kakamora look very cute.
In all this is a very good set with great figures. My only problem with it is the island, which for the price I expected a bit more. "

Four stars in every way!
" The garden has a nice rocky pathway, leading up to the deck. The deck has a lovely looking lounge chair. The chair has a quite clever construction, placing a tile on a jumper plate to act as the pillow! To the side there's anice bed for Cookie, which is on a jumper plate, so it can be easily removed. I love the build of the pool, simple but very effective. I love the trans blue pieces looking in at the water, I think it makes the pool look deeper. There's a nice little floatie build in the water. Then we have the stairs...eh...I have to applaud the designers for trying something different to the other houses, but this seems out of place. There's far too many colours in the build and they just seem randomly placed. I do like the waterfall in the middle of the stairs, flowing into the pool, but as for the stairs itself, just no.
The stairs and pool section is on hinges, so it can pulled in front of the house. The house is modular, so can be separated into different sections, which makes the hinged stairs even more peculiar.
I quite like the exterior of this house, it's unique compared to other Friends sets. A lot of people are saying it looks like 41037 Stephanie's Beach House, but I don't think it looks like it that much. There's different angles and proportions to that set.
I like the use of white as the colour scheme, it works quite well. I would've liked to seen black, just because we have never got a black friends building before. I really like the entrance, the gold stars are quite striking. There's another rocky footpath, leading up to the door. It's a shame the footpaths don't meet up, but oh well. I don't see a need for the palm leafs at front, but I guess it fills up empty space. I like the triangular lights on the building and the purple stripe on the second floor. I would've preferred white or transparent over the transparent blue bricks, but the rest of the exterior is great!
I love the interior downstairs! Surprisingly, there's a colour scheme; black, amber, white and magenta. I didn't like the inclusion of the cooking utensils in amber, before I realized it fit in with the colour scheme. I'll go through the interior; anti-clockwise, top to bottom. The drawer, to my surprise is black! We haven't got these pieces in black in a Friends set before and they are very welcome! The drawer has a croissant in a bowl over it and a mixing bowl inside it. There's a nice little sink, which uses that new tile with corners piece in transparent blue! It is nice to see that this new piece is not replacing the old one, as Cookie's bed uses it in black! The sink uses the dual tap piece, which has a bottle of soap beside it. The fridge construction is nice and simple, there's a popsicle in the top fridge and an apple and carrot in the bottom one. I like the inclusion of things over the fridge, a mixer and a jar of strawberry jam. The modern fire place at the back, has a simple construction but is very effective. There's a television with Naomi instructing you how to make cupcakes, overhead. I love how she tells you to use cases, as in 41119 Heartlake Cupcake Café there isn't any! Underneath the television, there's two stools. I would've liked the counter to lead up to the fireplace, so the person sitting on the left stool could put their plate somewhere. The counter consists of an oven and a drawer. The oven has a stove above it which is cooking celery(I think). There's a cupcake in a baking tray, in the over. The top drawer holds fork, while the bottom one holds knives. I love the lamp at the back! It has such a lovely design. The corner couch has an amazing design too, I love the cushion stickers. There's a newspaper with What's at heart?, which I'm beginning to think Livi is forcing the publishers to keep the same issue so Cookie will always be on the front. Livi doesn't just brag about Cookie though, so she has her gold record on the wall.
The guitar on the wall in the bedroom looks really nice, no doubt Livi brags about that too. :P A lot of Friends sets have been including beds with fancy sides, but this is different. This set has tiles on the side, rather then large curved pieces. The blanket of the bed uses a really nice sticker.
There's a large television with a dog winning a trophy on it. The television can be turned upside down to have a view from the security camera. It's a shame the mirror sticker doesn't have a shine to it. The vanity table has a perfume bottle, bow and lipstick.
Livi's closet has a nice build and has an over skirt, box of shoes and pair of roller skates in it.
The sink has a similar construction to before. The tap is smaller and it's a bar of soap instead of a bottle. I love the black and gold colour scheme for the bathroom, the toilet also has this.
The inclusion to such a window looking on the shower is peculiar, why not include the piece in white or switch the position of the shower? There's no door either. :S To make things even stranger a security camera is included, does Livi think a security camera will protect her from not having a door? The shower uses a frying pan for the shower head, which has been used in multiple Friends sets now. There's a nice sticker on the wall with tiles and a towel. The floor is decorated with gold drainage.
The balcony has a similar construction to the pool. There's a potted plant in a magenta bowl on the balcony.
The roof is completely new for a Friends house roof design, it's curved! There's a small vent and plant on the roof. It would've been interesting if there was something cool on the roof like a music writing area or secret garden.
Livi has a new torso, that has a large star on the front, which I do like. I would've liked to see her without her makeup and died hair, just for some variation. Her over skirt is in a new colour and has a new gold star print. Since she got a new torso I would've preferred a new "everyday" look torso for Livi
Andrea's new torso is pretty nice. I like the frilly jacket over her aqua top. Her face, skirt and hair are pretty common. Her over skirt is white and has various gold dots printed on one side. It's a shame Andrea was included. I would've preferred Livi's parents, manager or even a boyfriend. Why where only two characters included for this price anyway? 41106 Pop Star Tour Bus had three...
Cookie is the same as before, a Dalmatian with black spots, some of which are music themed.
This set is four stars for me in every way possible! The build is nice but there's some strange additions, such as the stairs and windows looking into the bathroom. The interior is really nice, but I wish there was a counter in-between the stools. White isn't a particularly rare colour, but the other parts have a lot of variety and some are rare. The playability would've been increased; if there was a slide or diving board into the pool, some vehicle for Livi or even another character. The price seems steep in the sense the tour bus has a similar number of pieces, but is $5 less. I do really like this set, but I think small differences could've made it better. "

This set but the bullseye
" I really adore this set, it's really fun! For the price I really think you get yor money's worth.
I'm really glad they included two targets (an apple and a normal one) and they both can be knocked down. I was so surprised to see a stud shooter in Friends, but I'm happy they included it as it only enhances playability.
I like the resting area too, I'm glad to see Mia gets both a snack and drink. It's also nice that they included a trophy for her to win.
I was also surprised to see a house for the hedgehog and there's even food for her to eat, in the form of berries.
I'm disappointed that Mia's top and Emma's top are the same in the camp series, I hope the friends have their sub theme tops exclusive to them in the future like how their jungle ones were. I do love Mia's new shorts though. I would've loved for Mia to get a new concentrating face, such as the one seen on Olivia in the attached file. I think a new concentrating face would be much appreciated by us Friends fans as we don't have to much variety in faces. Plus it could've been reused in that Amusment Park arcade set.
I'm also happy to see JoJo the hedgehog back.

Jeepers, it's a spectacular set!
" I love this set, I really do, it's just so darn fun!
I love the lighthouse itself. It's so cool that you can open the lid up and find clues. Heck they hid clues all over the place! The interior is kind of small, maybe a bed on the top floor would've worked? I'm always happy to see a kitchen though.
I really like how you can open the "window" on the second floor, I can just imagine how much fun kids are having recreating scenes from the show where Scooby flails in the air!
The skull head is also a cool and show accurate addition and I was very surprised that it opens up to reveal another clue!
There's also another clue to left underneath the planks, though this one is kind if obvious. :P
I really like the gang's boat, in universe it's actually dark blue but I guess this is more groovy. ;) I'm really happy that they included skis for Shaggy too.
I really like the inclusion of Shaggy being covered in seaweed and adding Daphne as a reference to the 80's when she, Shaggy and Scooby set up a detective agency together. I think Daphne's hairpiece is a bit bulky, I think a style similar to Emma's from Friends would've looked much better. She's not wearing her pink tights or lavender shoes either, which is also weird.
I would've much pefered if Scooby's face was completely scared, half and half just seems weird. But I do adore his mould!
The Lighthouse keeper would've been more accurate with yellow legs, though I'm very happy to see his face glows in the dark.
I would've rather had Verona in her regular outfit then the Swamp creature as the swamp creature is a new character and we don't have a set with a culprit.
I adore this theme and this set in particular. I love how you can solve a mystery by finding all the clues. I really hope this theme continues! "

Extremely disappointed with the interior
" My favourite part of the set is the school bus, it can sit all five friends which is always nice in a Friends set.
I do like the exterior of the school too, it's great to see a Heartlake building so big. The interior not so much, it's incredibly empty. I was astonished at how bare it looked. The top floor is by far the best, but even then I feel there could be stuff placed at the back of the walls. My favourite of the builds is the ballet stand, it's just a shame we don't have a ballerina in this set.
The second floor and third floors are astonishingly bare for a Friends set. The bathroom, despite having 4x6 studs to use only puts a toilet and a sink in it. There's no accessories like soap, toilet paper or even hidden messages, nothing. The next room literally just has a table with a computer.... The classroom just has two chairs, two tables and a sticker on the wall. No teacher's desk, no book shelf, Heartlake High included a telescope, world map and microscope in it's Science classroom. The art classroom in Heartlake High was also full of details, how can this extremely empty classroom come from the same theme?
There's only one locker in this set, despite having two students. There's also a bench in that room. There's nothing interior wise in the hallway. The cafeteria only has a single hotdog and carton of milk for sale.
That my friends is the interior to a Friends school set, I'm just speechless. This is Friends!, the interiors are usually incredible what happened here?!
There's a small basketball hoop and bench outside, neither are practically interesting but they were nice inclusions.
I feel like a broken record in these reviews saying I'm disappointed with the mini-dolls. Heartlake High had three new torsos, two new leg pieces, two new faces and one new hair piece. Now I don't think we need this many new pieces but a new face, torso and leg piece for Iva would've been much appreciated.
I don't think Andrea's outfit looks nice together, the colours don't contrast well in my opinion. Personally I would've liked Stephanie to appear in her soccer outfit from 2013 and Andrea to appear in the party shop set instead.
I'm happy to see Noah again, but since Ben is also using this torso I'd rather he take Andrew's or perhaps even something new.
Iva is laughable, that's the teacher? Unless she's a student teacher I think it's safe to say this a rather lame move on LEGO's part. While I'm happy to see her get a new hairpiece, I would've much rathered a new torso or face. I hate it when Friends characters who aren't the five Friends reuse their faceprints, nearly every Friends fan has more then one of these faces spare from having an extra Friend, why must we get even more? There's still no hazel eyes, only green eyes have glasses and it would be rather nice to see different shades of blue, brown, amber and green eyes in the existing shades from LEGO's colour pallet.
For those who don't know in 2013 Friends received its first school with, 41005 Heartlake High. I've been on record on saying this is my favourite set ever and frankly this doesn't come close in anyway. Heartlake High was full of details, big and small. The interior is the best I've ever seen in a LEGO set, it left the perfect amount of open space and filled everything else.It introduced many new pieces in Cool Yellow, had three amazing mini-dolls and even an animal, Hoo the owl.
This set does have a nice facade, but the inside is just boring. Yes the school bus is lovely,p and it's great to see something that can hold all five friends. The mini dolls however are laughably bad, practically Iva who just seems lazy.
I don't recommend this set, which I rarely have to say for Friends sets.

Really great set, but needs a colour scheme
" The half pipe is very brightly colored but it's a nice build. I do find its weird there promoting graffiti on the bottom! Poor Charlie has to skate up the hole pipe just for a sniff off the bone on display. The bottom of the cones are quite nice being transparent and all. I love how they didn't make the cones pink!
The vending machine is a lovely looking build and I was shocked to see how it works. Play features are becoming more plentiful in mini-doll themes and I'm happy to see that development.
The skateboard has a nice sticker. The way they attached the rope is; you attach the rope before you clip in the wheels.
I'm not sure why the peer was included, you think they would make two different sets but oh well. I like the coconut tree construction and its skateboarding sign. I like the build of the peer too, it's nice and simple but effective. The only thing I don't like is the colors. Not because there bright because there's too many. I think the peer would've worked much better in just tan and lavender.
I'm not sure what the other part is because I don't skateboard :P Whatever it is it looks nice, but like the peer it has too many colors. The ramp should be completely Iight stone grey, not orange and medium lavender mixed in! The orange bench should provide enough colour. The boom box to the side has a nice construction, we finally get the medium azure 90's-2000's phone in a cheap set! The bar to the side is a nice place to do tricks.
Mia's helment in this colour is new. Unfortunately it's not a new mould and is simply the horse riding helmet in a new colour. I wish they used the minifigure helmet and added the ponytail on to it, but oh well. Her face, torso, legs and camera are nothing new. I do like the outfit combination, its very tomboyish (like Mia) with just the right girliness. It would've been nice to see a new top or trouser colour just because these pieces have become so common.
Charlie is here too! Now that they've introduced Cookie, a much better looking Dalmatian I'm surprised they kept Charlie. Oh well you can see the spots on his hind legs in the first picture.
I love the design of this thing and I'm glad to see more "tom boy" Friends sets, but it needs a colour scheme! I aploud them for not using pink but throwing lavender and bright orange everywhere isn't any better. I would've been fine with Mia having pink/lavender skates and the orange in the set being lavender, if it meant the set would have a subdued colour scheme. The vending machine is amazing! It's super fun to play with! I wish another character was included instead of Charlie, it's not safe for children to learn about taking their dogs skateboarding! The price is fine for what you get. You should definitely get this set if it goes on sale, I'm not sure if you should otherwise. "

Strange build but still fun
" This set's build is kind of weird, it's just a piece of foliage. That said I think it's still pretty enjoyable.
I like how there's a place to hold the egg. The play feature is a bit lame, because it doesn't really do much but it's a nice effort. Since the build is so weird it's constructed of several nice pieces, I highly recommend looking up the parts inventory for this set.
I really love Flame, she has a lovely mould and I love the colour scheme. Emily is a great figure, her face really improved this year and the proportions are a lot better. It's a shame Emily's outfit is the same as in three other sets, but we can't have everything.
I would especially recommend this to non Elves fans as they wont have an Emily or a baby dragon mould. It's not a must buy for Elves fans except if you want to collect all the baby dragons, otherwise I imagine you all ready have this Emily and the build isn't really displayable. "

Silly idea but it's executed well
" I love this set, it's just so much fun!
The hamsters are adorable and both are currently exclusive! There's a lot of other interesting pieces included too such as the party invitation, three party hats, the yellow bike, the purple jumper plates and the present pieces.
The builds are okay, the train is more fun than anything, it looks great when it's full. The hamster build looks good. The post box was a nice addition that didn't have to be included.
Stephanie's normal outfit is fine here, but since her torso is currently available in three sets a new "party" outfit would've been nice.
I really recommend this set to everyone (especially Friends fans), there's just so much to like. It's by far the best party set and if you can only get one choose this! "

Practically perfect
" For a juniors ice cream truck I don't think this could get any better. Really think about it what else would you want in a juniors ice cream truck?
The build's quite fun and instantly recognizable. Some people complain at all the pink in Friends sets, but real ice cream trucks can be pink so it's fine here. Everything you would want in an ice cream truck is inside, a freezer, different flavors of ice cream, a Popsicle, cash register and a drivers seat. I'm very impressed with the addition of seating, it really didn't have to be included but just adds more value to the set. The signs including the giant ice cream are nice additions too.
The figures are nothing special. Andrea is in her regular outfit (which I imagine is what kids want) and Emma is wearing Naomi's cupcake uniform. It would've been nice to see Emma have a new ice cream worker torso here, but I guess that's more of a want then a need. It's also nice to see Max the puppy again.
The pieces here are really nice, the decorated pieces are prints (there's no stickers in juniors sets) and exclusive. The base of the van is also exclusive in light pink.
I would recommend this to older Friends fans, while you don't get that much of a satisfying build as you would regularly the end product will look great in any Heartlake City. "
