"Probably the best reboot set ever from the Empire Strikes Back. Great price for four unique figures.
1. Figures: The set is worth the four figures alone. The upgrade of Boba Fett is awesome. Great cape, detailed helmet and new blaster are awesome. If you don't want to spend the nearly $200 for Slave 1 to get Boba Fett this is the set to get. Ugnaught is very well done with his detailed head and face. Han Solo figure is classic. The upgrade in the Han Solo in Carbonite is great. Much better than the old flat figure that came in Slave 1 more than a decade ago. 2. Chamber: The orange pieces for the lights on the stairs and platform really makes it stand out. The actual freezing mechanism is pretty great. Easy to work.
Overall: Great set for EVERYONE. Be it kids or collectors."
"Awesome new Avengers set. SUPER excited to set it on the shelves even before the excepted release date of Jan. 1. Here are the highlights: 1. Iron Skull's sub -- Looks pretty bulky, but I liked the design once it was built. Lots of playability with the front being so long. Also like the fact that it's different than any other Lego subs. The cage is a cool like addition. 2. Figures -- All excellent. Love the new coloring of Iron Man. Cap and Hydra diver's scuba gear are cool looking. Would have liked to have a mask for Iron Skull too.
Overall: A great new piece to go along with the Avengers sets. KEEP the Marvel sets coming Lego."
"Maybe the best Lego set less than $20 that I've ever bought. Lego did a great job using Ant-Man into the Lego World. Had to buy two because the set is that good.
Figures: Details on the helmets and suits for Ant-Man, Hank Pym and Yellow Jacket are spectacular. Great you can see the eyes in all three with the red and yellow eye shields. Only issue I have is Yellow Jacket is very back heavy with his pack, guns and wings. But the new firing guns are awesome.
Ant and Lego pieces: Ant is a perfect fit for the set. Very sturdy and the wings are great. The oversized Lego pieces are great throw-in for the set. Cool to give a dimension of the figures with the screws and oversized Lego blocks.
Conclusion: Can't emphasize the great value and playability of this set. As a collector of Marvel and DC Legos I normally keep sets in boxes, but this set was worth putting together for display and keeping one in the box. Hope to see a few more Ant-Man sets to go along with the upcoming movie. The character is perfect for the Lego World."
"AWESOME set. A very fitting set for Green Lantern. Great space theme with Sinestro. The addition of a NEW Space Batman is the icing on the set. To get three mini-figures in a $20 set is great for collectors and novices. I'm more of a Marvel collector than DC, but a great Justice League set. Keep them coming."
"After mulling over it for a few years, finally pulled the trigger to buy the Arkham Asylum Breakout before it goes into retirement. Of course the $$$ is pretty steep, but for collectors of Batman Legos, I think this set is a must. MINIFIGURES: The quality and quantity of mini figures probably jumps out first. Almost unheard of to get 8 in a set that aren't generic. My favorites are the Joker, Dr. Harleen Quinzel and Scarecrow. The orange jump suit for Joker is awesome. It was nice to finally get Scarecrow in a set and the blond look for Harley is cool. THE ASYLUM: Great detail. I have some of the bigger Harry Potter buildings and Arkham surpasses them on details. Takes great patience to build, but has an awesome solid look once it's done. The rooms all have a great look. SECURITY VAN: Pretty cool little addition that I like was added. The coolest thing is the stretcher of course. OVERALL: The best "mega" sets I've seen Lego produce in its line of Super Hero sets. I suggest if you can purchase this set before it's retired do it. Even buy two to keep one boxed up. I think this set will be worth some serious $$$ to collectors down the road."
"I never miss out on picking up a Spider-Man Lego set, especially one that features Doc Ock. The Mini-figures: The Doc Ock in this set has a cool different look then from the Doc Ock Ambush or Spider-Man's Train Rescue sets. Seems like this mini figure is just perfect for Lego with his arms. Always great playability. Spider-Man's look hasn't changed much. I do like the little added detail to his chest from what I can tell on some of my older Spider-Man sets from year's back. I really do like the "web" to go along with this normal webbing rope. The bank truck driver goes along with the set nicely. Truck: Good looking vehicle for the set. The back of the truck has some pretty cool features for storage etc… Overall: Good set for the price. Love the new look for Doc Ock. If you haven't bought a set with Doc Ock, this is a great one to do so. Would have liked a little more on the variation of Spider-Man, but can't complain about his classic look."
"Joker again proves why he is the best of the DC villains. The Steam roller is an extremely unique vehicle. Great looks and totally fits the Joker's craziness. The new look Joker Goon is great. Past Lego sets — The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape, Arkham Asylum Breakout etc… — with Joker, I believe have been the best in the Batman collection. Steam roller is a great addition and doesn't disappoint when it comes to Joker. Was a little disappointed in the new Batwing look. The wings are just too long and bulky looking. And would have liked a little different look for the Batman mini-figure other than just his traditional look. The Batgirl and Robin mini-figures are solid. Overall - A must-have set for those Joker fans, which there are many. Just not a big fan of this Batwing."
"One of the better $20 sets I've seen Lego produce. Great to have a set that has a direct connection to a movie - Captain America: The First Avenger. Those are really the sets that standout the best. Look of Red Skull is fantastic, and his vehicle is even better. Great playability with the wheel action. Sets it apart from most normal small vehicles. Great to have a third mini-figure with the Hydra Henchman. Cap mini-figure is similar to recent versions, along with his bike. I am glad that Lego use his iconic bike. Would have paid more for a fourth mini-figure. Bucky would have been awesome. Hopefully Bucky will make an appearance in the future."
"HUGE Spider-Man fan. It's the main Lego super hero I collect. Slick look for Electro. Gets me pumped up for the new Amazing Spider-Man movie coming out in May. I hope Lego has more sets from the new movie. My most treasured set is the Doc Ock vs Spider-Man train set from Spider-Man 2. Getting to this set. It's a simple set. Spidey looks cool as usual. The Spider-Trike is a little bulky. Would have liked a sleeker looking vehicle. But this set is ALL about Electro. The look is great. A difficult character to get right, but I think Lego nailed this one. He looks electric with the colors (blue and green). Well worth the price for this set. A great set for younger kids."
"Excited to see another solid Avengers set that is a venue piece. Also great to have a venue setting to incorporate into my collection. Cool to have HULK in another set: A unique mini-figure with his size. Awesome to have a trio of new mini-figures in MODOK, Taskmaster and Falcon. Good look for MODOK. Great get Thor in another set. Would love to see some other figures from the Thor line. IE… Odin, Sif, Laufey, Volstagg etc… in future sets. Best thing about the lab is the holding chamber for Thor. A little pricey for a 398 piece set, but worth it with the 5 mini-figures."
